This 1968 Ford F-100 is the perfect mix of classic where you want it, and upgrades where you need it. It only gets better when you realize how much of an extremely rare gem this powerful pickup really is.
Trucks from this era are always a great part of nostalgia because they remind us of a hard day's work, and fun at the same time. It's this tough attitude, and it makes it so rare to find them in such great condition like this one. The pristine bodywork has been given a superior respray in a shade of dark green that fits in with the 1960s, as easily as modern times. Only the premium models received chrome in all the right places, like the bumpers and the wide grille, that helps make the F-O-R-D spacing on the hood look like the boss. But there's something else distinctive you might have noticed on this F-100. After all, how many Flareside beds do you ever see from this era anymore? In the late 60s, the all-steel bed of the Styleside was the popular option. In 1968 Ford sold nearly 20 straight side F-100s for every 1 step side. Now that this has aged into a vintage hauler, the classic appearance and real wood bed of this Flareside pickup is an impressive looker. So in the ... Please ask for the full description.

So in the ever-appreciating vintage pickup market, this one has a clear valuable standout.
Open the door, and you immediately notice some nice upgrades. The bench seat is from a late-model pickup. This not only means extra comfort, but also the fold down armrest has deep cup holders – a handy feature you could never find in the '60s. The driver gets a wood-rimmed Grant GT sports steering wheel and a large column-mounted tachometer. This is especially handy to use with the Hurst shifter (getting the hint yet that there might be something special under the hood?) The passenger gets an AM/FM/cassette stereo for more modern tunes, but the rest of the dash feels original right down to the heater/defrost controls.
The engine bay looks like a true modern showstopper. Beneath the seriously cool blue and chrome theme is a Ford's legendary 302 cubic-inch V8 that has been rebuilt with plenty of performance upgrades. This includes the Edelbrock air cleaner, Holley four-barrel carburetor with electric choke, Mallory ignition, and Edelbrock valve covers. This feeds performance headers that connect to a MagnaFlow dual exhaust. The pipes even exit just behind the doors for a custom look that lets everyone in the pickup enjoy the sweet rumble even better. This F-100 has been upgraded to a four-speed manual transmission, so you'll be glad it's sitting on modern Goodyear Eagle GTII tires with 15-inch Pacer alloy wheels. That way you can easily get traction with this powerful drivetrain. But don't be afraid to take this F-100 for an all-day cruise thanks to features like power steering and front disc brakes.
Pristine vintage pickups are already tough to find, which makes this Flareside F-100 an exceptionally rare truck that won't last long in our showroom. Call now!!
