This 1970 Ford Mustang has been turning heads since it rolled into our showroom. Vivid Grabber Green paint certainly helps, and with a strong-running 302 under the hood plus a beautiful resto inside and out to match, this is one Mustang that doesn't have to be afraid of the open road.
You'll certainly have no problem attracting attention with the sweet Grabber Green paint, which gives the Sportsroof body a distinctly Mustang look that wears especially well with the c-stripe graphics adorned on each side. Looking down the sides of the car, it's obvious that someone took their time and focused on the details, because it's straight, smooth, and neatly aligned throughout. The two-stage urethane paint lends the car a shine that would be impossible to duplicate using 1970 paint, and I kind of dig the fact that they used a standard Mustang hood scoop instead of installing a Shaker or some gaudy fiberglass re-pop.. Add a satin black chin spoiler and a deck lid-mounted wing to complete the look and you have one of the best-looking Mustangs ever created.

Beautiful white high-back buckets were part of the resto too, and this car wears them well. With fresh seat covers front and rear, a full set of new black carpets, and door panels that appear to be in excellent shape, the interior is a great place to spend your Saturday afternoons. This Stang focuses on performance almost to the exclusion of everything else: it has an AM radio and a heater, but precious little else to get in the way of driving enjoyment. The factory gauge cluster is still in place, and everything is crisp and clean. With a T-handle shifter for the C4 3-speed automatic transmission sticking out of the floor, its performance credentials are excellent, and the fat wood-rimmed steering wheel adds a vintage touch that works well today. Open the trunk and you'll find a tidy cargo bay with a full-sized spare tire.
The engine is a 302 cubic inch V8, fortified with an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold and 4-barrel carburetor, a shiny chrome air cleaner, and a set of finned valve covers, it certainly looks like it's ready to run. Ford Blue paint on the block stands out in the satin black engine bay, and the bright yellow ignition components look right. It barks to life through a very mellow dual exhaust system with glasspack-style mufflers, which might be the car's only shortcoming; it really needs a better-sounding set of pipes. The 3-speed automatic transmission has perfect ratios for the small block's power curve, and the self-shifter is hardly a performance handicap these days. The only obvious upgrade are those handsome 15-inch American Racing wheels which are a modern tribute to the vintage Torque Thrust and wear 235/60/15 BFGoodrich T/A radials all around.
Go out, spin the tires, shift some gears, and have some fun, that's this Mustang's true mission. Call today!
