Things of quality have no fear of time, and this 1972 Chevrolet C10 Cheyenne Super is a fine example. Powerful, handsome, and ready to work or play; it's a head-turner that still knows how to earn a living.
Two-tone has always been a distinctive style on vintage pickups. On this bow tie, it emphasizes the C10's clean, straight lines and gives these former workhorses a feeling of sophistication. It also helps that the blue and white paintwork was only applied about a year ago, so it greatly outshines any factory color. Because this is a Cheyenne Super it comes with some nice extra body chrome, including the upper and lower body side accents. In fact, the lower one still wears its factory-correct 70s-cool wood strip within the brightwork, and this premium design touch continues on the tailgate, too. But just because this is a shining star, don't be afraid to load this one up with weekend projects. The spray-in bedliner will haul back the lumberyard without showing the aftermath.
Inside the same two-tone theme continues. This looks especially nice on the textured door panels. The highly detailed Cheyenne bench has been recovered in pristine white. This is vinyl, so if you do have a ... Please ask for the full description.

This is vinyl, so if you do have a messy mistake with this truck, it will regain its pearly status with just a quick wipe down. Blue carpets make it feel plush from behind the wheel, and the dash is full of original instruments. Beyond that are provisions for air conditioning, and a knob-style AM/FM stereo. A sliding rear window is always a great feature, creating a nice cooling effect inside without excessive wind, just for those days when you want that comfortable cruising feeling.
The engine is a 350 cubic-inch V8, as advertised on the front fenders, but you'll notice it looks a bit more modern than some other C10s out there. This small block is from a later model Chevy, and it was recently rebuilt to add performance features like a mild camshaft and a sweet-sounding dual exhaust. This is mated to a sturdy TH350 three-speed automatic that was rebuilt with the motor. Despite all of this upgrading and servicing, you'll notice something interesting in the engine bay. When the truck was resprayed, special care was taken to retain the factory chalk marks and original paint on the firewall. 1972 C10s are really sought-after because this was the final year for the trailing arm rear suspention (and this body style), which helps makes these Chevys ride much smoother than most other vintage pickups. Add this to power steering, front disc brakes, and modern BF Goodrich T/A rubber at all four corners (with chrome SS wheels!) and this truck might be a hauler, but it's also a clean Sunday car show cruiser.
A very nice truck at a great price, you can easily justify this purchase simply because it'll be both a tool and a jewel in your garage. And with the colors and quality...its already getting a ton of attention. Call today!!
