This V8 is now substantially more powerful than when it left the factory in '79, and the sound is significantly sweeter out of the new dual exhaust with performance X-pipe construction. More than just a recent engine upgrade, the suspension, tires, brakes have all been freshly redone. This is the kind of Corvette you can have confidence in driving fast, but it also is a nice car for the long trips, too. That's thanks to features like the TH350 three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and four-wheel disc brakes.
