That latter upgrade is part of a long tube setup that connects to a Flowmaster dual exhaust sytem. So you know this one has a loud bark and the bite to back it up. Part of the origins of the 4-4-2 name included four-on-the-floor, but this one goes one step further. There is a Tremec TKO600 five-speed manual connected to the monster motor to make sure you can always stay in the powerband. To make sure this reliably gets to the road, the power is sent through a 12-bolt Positraction rear end. But there's more to the Olds than just muscle. That extra gear means overdrive cruising, and the power steering, front power disc brakes, and modern Turbo-Tech GT tires all make this 442 handle nicely on a Sunday drive.
