FRAME OFF RESTO, 239 6 CYL, NEAR PERFECT ALL AROUND, COLLECTOR GRADE, OLDSMOBILE

This is your opportunity to be the most interesting person everywhere you go, from car shows to parade routes. After all, when was the last time you saw a 1922 REO T6B seven-passenger touring car? Ever? And just look at how complete, pristine, and ready to roll it is!

You know Ransom E. Olds in one way or another. He was a brilliant engineer who can be named in the same breath as Henry Ford for bringing good quality cars to the masses. While many have driven an Oldsmobile, only a select few get to own a vehicle from his other venture, REO. This seven-passenger open touring car really shows off the best of the 1920s – wood wheels, big headlights, and winged thermometer radiator cap. There's even a nice custom touch with the intricate custom bumper design. It's got that classic silhouette, but carries an interesting name on the front that faded long ago. This one is particularly striking because of the red paint that comes from a recent high end restoration. But this car goes beyond just an expensive professional respray. Most cars from this era have black fenders, but this one just looks much bolder with the bright red color shimmering over more of its sheetmetal.

Inside is the kind of cleanliness that can only come from a quality restoration. Not only are the gray leather seats superbly comfortable, but they also have nice red piping that match the exterior paint. This same motif is repeated on the door panels for that added luxury touch. The folding roof even carries the same gray color. By now you've probably noticed the folding jump seats in the rear. That brings the total seating to seven comfortably, which makes this the perfect vehicle for everything from parade routes to something memorable for multiple family generations to ride in around town.

Take one look underneath this car, and you can really see just how far the restoration went. The entire drivetrain appears like it's 1922, and fresh from the Lancing, Michigan factory. But more than just a colorful and compete engine bay, this REO is a true runner. You can advance the timing from behind the wood wheel, and once you're really rolling the torque advantages of REO's 239 cubic-inch T6 inline-six cylinder engine really begin to be felt. This is especially true thanks to the freedom of the floor-mounted three-speed manual transmission, and low gear ratio for plenty of get-up-and-go at low speeds.

Here's a fun classic that is possibly the cleanest 90+ year-old you'll ever see. It's a turnkey old-time car, that can carry everyone for the price of an Oldsmobile, but with a much cooler story. Call today!!
