Rarely do you find a full custom-built pickup within your budget. This 1963 Ford F-100 is a prime example, with its amazing paint, hot rod details, and a performance enhanced 351 V8. You can get all this, and much more, for under $19K. So don't take too long reading the details, or you might be too late.
That amazing metallic paint is only a few months old. The shade strikes such a unique balance between light blue and silver, that if we were naming it, this would be called “twilight chrome.” In fact, it has the kind of deep shine that really highlights all the dramatic lines and intricate sheetmetal that Ford dared to put on these now-classic pickups. Still, this one goes much further into the details with its custom grille, flush roll pan with new taillights, and shaved door handles. Even if the paint is the shiniest element on this truck, it doesn't stop this one from having some great 60s-era custom brightwork touches such as the Moon-style hubcaps, and the diamond plating in the bed. But the most impressive feature might have just come from the factory. The Flareside bed looks amazing, and it also enhances this pickup's rarity because Ford sold half as many of this style as ... Rarely do you find a full custom-built pickup within your budget. This 1963 Ford F-100 is a prime example, with its amazing paint, hot rod details, and a performance enhanced 351 V8. That amazing metallic paint is only a few months old. The shade strikes such a unique balance between light blue and silver, that if we were naming it, this would be called "twilight chrome." In fact, it has the kind of deep shine that really highlights all the dramatic lines and intricate sheetmetal that Ford dared to put on these now-classic pickups. The Flareside bed looks amazing, and it also enhances this pickup's rarity because Ford sold half as many of this style as the fleet Stylesides.
The interior continues the custom feel, with diamond plating on the side panels and dash, and the rest is filled in by that fantastic blue metallic exterior paint. Of course, you'll really start to notice the custom touches the moment you slip into the power bucket seat (after all, something this comfortable was decades away from '63.) Just beyond the Grant GT steering wheel is a full set of Dolphin gages. If that wasn't enough to tell you there was a lot going on in the engine bay, the B&M ratchet-style shifter floor shifter certainly will.
The 351 cubic-inch V8 looks great with the Ford Racing air cleaner and valve covers, and there's plenty of substance to go with this style. The motor was rebuilt less than 6,000 miles ago, with upgrades that include a .040 bore kit, high-performance camshaft, Edelbrock high rise intake, and Holley 750 CFM four-barrel carburetor. All of this exhales though Hooker performance headers on its way through the glasspack dual exhaust, with performance H-pipe construction. So this motor has a serious bark, and a powerful bite to back it up too. But that's far from the only enhancements. This is running a heavy-duty Ford FMX three-speed automatic transmission, with a 2,800 stall converter. Underneath this cool custom rides on a Buick Centurion front end that includes disc brakes, and in the rear is an air ride suspension. So this power steering pickup has a better feeling on the road than just about any other 1960s truck you can find.
This is a restoration-fresh custom pickup that has all the cool elements that you'll love showing off at the car shows. So with a price this low, you better hurry because we're not keeping this one a secret. Call now!!
