We love seeing cars from the 1930s get a new life as cool hot rods, but most of the time they are a Ford or Chevy. That's what makes this 1934 Plymouth 5-window coupe so appealing. It fits in perfectly with this crowd but still stays unique. Best of all, it remains Mopar faithful right down to the new crate V8 under the hood.

That bold paint you can't take your eyes off of is Prowler Orange. Yes that's right... This car that originally built during the early years of Plymouth was painted in a color borrowed from one of the last (and wildest) Plymouths ever, and we love it. That's a pretty cool story you get to tell, but the real payoff is that this has been applied with such a professional hand that there is a candy-coated luster that reminds us of an orange Tootsie Pop. The all steel body is in fantastic condition, with the kind of fitting that can take home the trophies. The painted grille shell gives the front end a handsome appearance, but like any good hot rod, there's still room for chrome. You see it on everything from the ripple-pattern bumpers, to the headlight surrounds, to the 16-inch Dante wheels.

Inside is plenty more evidence of a lot of cash invested in custom work. ... Please ask for the full description.

QUALITY MOPAR, 318 V8, 747 AUTO, AIR COND, PWR WIN, PWR STEER, FRONT DISCS, NICE

It starts with the door panels and seats, done in an orange and cream tone that complements the exterior paint quite well. These are modern leather bucket seats that will impress you with their all-day comfort, and Plymouth's full sail logo embroidered in the headrests is a nice touch to impress the lookie-loos. While you might not think of a hot rod as a luxury cruiser, you could easily live with this Plymouth every day, thanks to features such as the power windows, center console, and an AM/FM/CD stereo neatly mounted in a panel above the rear view mirror. It's especially nice that this coupe also has ice-cold air conditioning running modern R-134a. The driver even gets a wood-rimed Grant steering wheel, and just beyond that is a full set of VDO gauges with a classic vintage appearance. But as much as this one has luxury features, you feel its performance nature the moment you turn the key and hear the dual exhaust rumble.

Hot rods from all makes often utilize Chevy small-block power, but this one has again, refreshingly stayed all-Mopar. Under the hood is a 318 cubic-inch V8 crate motor from Chrysler. It has an amazing presentation, dressed in plenty of brightwork such as the finned Mopar Performance valve covers, braided hoses, master cylinder, air cleaner, and much, much more. But more importantly, this crate V8 has been barely broken in with less than 4,700 miles on it since new. The power is mated to a stout 727 Torqueflight three-speed automatic transmission, before being sent to a versatile 3.50 rear end. Besides just being powerful, this Plymouth rides down the road nicely thanks to the new A-arm independent front suspension, power steering, and front disc brakes.

This is a unique hot rod with an interesting story to tell. If you're a Mopar fan or just a fan of being a little different, this awesome Plymouth is a show-stopper with daily driver premium features. It's an unbeatable combination that won't last long in our showroom, especially because the quality is there! Call now!!
