FULL RESTO IN 2015, 383 V8, AUTO, CUSTOM INT, A/C, PWR BRAKES/STEER, EXCELLENT!

First-generation Novas were an instant hit on the racing scene because it was the best way to drop the largest power from Chevy into their smallest package. That is what made this car a sleeper legend that has spawned some seriously cool custom builds like this one, that spare no expense. How else can you explain this freshly restored 1963 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova SS with beautiful metallic paint, and a fresh performance-built 450 hp V8 under the hood?

Chevrolet made these Nova SS cars sleepers from the factory, and that attitude has served it well right into modern times. Rendered in extremely slick and fashionable metallic burnt orange paint, most take one look at the sleek lines and figure that it has to be customized. But the truth is, this is just the product of a quality frame-off restoration that was finished only a few months ago. Aside from the cowl induction hood and billet grille, the rest of the car is original GM styling. Even most of the trim remains intact, including the rocker moldings, SS badges, and bright chrome bumpers front and rear. Even the Rally wheels are a factory piece, but of course, having them painted in the car's custom orange is a nice cue that this ... Please ask for the full description.

Even the Rally wheels are a factory piece, but of course, having them painted in the car's custom orange is a nice cue that this one is a cut above.

The ProCar black vinyl buckets do the perfect job of being exceptionally comfortable, but the seatbacks don't rise above the doorline. This is particularly important because people can see all the way through the sideview on this pillarless hardtop, which is always the coolest kind of profile. There's a high center console in-between the buckets to rest your arm on a long trip, and that's just the first of many thoughtful comfort features. This includes an AM/FM digital stereo that's also adaptable to modern tunes, and an ice-cold air conditioning system to keep everyone happy. But even if this is the Nova that can carry the family in comfort, it's still a driver's car at its heart. That's why you have a leather-wrapped sports steering wheel, and beyond that, the full set of Classic Instruments gauges tell you there is something wicked under the hood.

While this Nova looks custom-built from every angle, you can tell the budget was really blown in the engine bay. This is a 383 cubic-inch stroker V8, a nice upgrade from the 6 cylinder that would have came stock in all Chevy II's this year. One of GM's best motors, the 383 has been further enhanced and fortified with performance goodies such as Dart aluminum heads, Edelbrock Performer Air Gap intake, cast steel crank, forged I-beam connecting rods, high performance pistons, Scorpion Racing roller rockers, Comp Cams roller camshaft, and long tube headers. There's even more to list, but we don't have the room here. Instead, we'll be happy to share the build receipts with you for all the details, and it will also show that this one is barely broken-in with a few years, and less than 1,000 miles on it, since built. But all you really need to know is that the full package is rated at 450 horsepower, and everyone will acknowledge this muscle the moment they hear the performance H-pipe dual exhaust. You also won't have trouble getting this power to the road, thanks to a stout TCI Streetfighter TH350 three-speed automatic with 2200 RPM stall converter to keep you in the powerband. This is backed up by a 10-bolt rear end, borrowed from the '71 Nova, which was equipped to handle a high-performance V8s like this. But there's also a more comfortable side to this Nova. You saw it in the interior, and you'll also feel it on the road with everyday convenient features like power steering and the front disc brakes. Add that to the adjustable front independent suspension, and lowered rear, and you've got the perfect recipe for everything from go out cruising for a little fun on a Saturday night, to enjoying the long haul on the Power Tour.

Here's show-stopping looks on a freshly restored, and beastly first-gen Nova SS. It doesn't get much better than this, and it will be hard to find anything this quality for the price again. Don't miss out...call now!!!
