RECENT REFURB, 350 V8, 700R4, DUALS, PWR FRONT DISCS, PWR STEERING, WOOD BED!!

There's an awful lot to love in this 1968 GMC C10 pickup. Great color combination, V8 power, great stance, and a bright red interior that really pops against the white paint. If you've been searching for a do-it-all weekend warrior, this truck should be your leading candidate.

It's safe to say that these trucks are insanely popular. They never last long on the showroom floor, and if you've even been to a show, you know that they're starting to show up in ever larger numbers. However, when this red stepside rolls in, people will stop and notice. Perhaps it's the threatening rumble of the exhaust, but it's also likely to be the searing white paint job that coats one of the best-looking pickups ever built. It was painted recently, and while it's not perfect, it's the kind of thing that just looks right on the vintage pickup, and if you want to take it up a level, a professional cut and buff would really work wonders. The regular cab/stepside bed combination has a muscular look thanks to those rounded fenders, and the white paint does nothing to diminish the muscle car vibe. A few chrome trim pieces highlight the interesting areas of the truck, and while it is badged with a Chevy bowtie and ... Please ask for the full description.

A few chrome trim pieces highlight the interesting areas of the truck, and while it is badged with a Chevy bowtie and grille, it's definitely a GMC. There's also a nicely finished bed with spray-in bedliner and wood plants that look awesome, so you can take this one to work with you; it won't mind.

The red interior is beautifully stitched together, and that makes a big difference when you climb inside. The original bench was covered in supple red upholstery that mirrors the original patterns and still offers three-across seating, as GM intended. The gauges are original and the dash has been painted to match the interior, and while the gauges are a little faded, they're still some of the best looking dials found in a production vehicle. Almost everything is new, including the seat cover, door panels, and dash pad, and aside from some very minor signs of use, it looks extremely fresh. There's also a handsome Grant GT steering wheel that lends a sporty attitude. For entertainment, the original AM radio is still in the dash, but you and I both know you won't be using it very often.

The reason is simple: 350 cubic inches of snarling small block V8. With an aluminum intake and a big 4-barrel carb, throttle response is instantaneous and if you're not careful, you'll turn those rear tires into expensive tire smoke without even trying. There's a mild cam inside that gives it a bit of a lopey idle, and it's nicely dressed with chrome valve covers and a matching air cleaner. It's not radical, and you can see that it was built with driving in mind, as it has both power steering and power brakes that make it easy to handle. A throaty Flowmaster exhaust system sounds awesome with turn downs just after of the transmission. That transmission is a 700R4 4-speed automatic that shifts without hesitation the moment your foot hits the carpet and the 10-bolt rear end means that durability won't be an issue. The chassis still looks great, showing a few signs of age use, but they're easy to forgive when everything is in such good order. Black Rally wheels with trim rings and fat white-letter radials add to the sporty look and fill the fenders properly.

This is one of those trucks that looks so good most folks wouldn't care what lived under the hood. Fortunately, this GMC needs no excuses and drives every bit as good as it looks. Call today!
