TRIPLE BLACK, 454 V8, TH400 AUTO, A/C, PWR STEER/FRONT DISCS, WONT LAST, NICE!

When you have a triple-black 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 the idea is to look and sound like the ultimate bad boy, and this one plays its part perfectly. Slick body, nice paint, all the right Super Sport touches, and great details on the big block V8 make this one intimidation on wheels.

If you own this Chevelle SS, you want to drive it; if you get passed by this Chevelle, you want to own it. That's the desirability of the sought-after Tuxedo Black paint that highlights the exceptionally straight body. Plus, the black vinyl roof was a great way to show off you had some extra cash to splash around. White SS stripes on a functional cowl induction hood, and the hood pins, are a big part of the appeal of the Super Sport model. But this one goes much further to get the details right like the blacked-out grille, all the correct badging, and the correct SS wheels. Nice chrome bumpers and polished stainless fender trim help complete a package that looks ready for a weekend's worth of cruising.

The black bucket seat interior has the same desirable mean and clean attitude as the exterior. The carpets, door panels, headliner, and seats have all been looked over in this one, and anything ... Please ask for the full description.

The black bucket seat interior has the same desirable mean and clean attitude as the exterior. The carpets, door panels, headliner, and seats have all been looked over in this one, and anything that didn't feel factory fresh was replaced. The result is a great place to spend some time. You hop in and your right hand is instantly attracted to the iconic horseshoe shifter in the center console. The correct full round gauge set includes a tach, and just below the dash is an auxiliary gauge for oil pressure. The upgraded AM/FM/cassette stereo system has features like big speakers and a digital tuner, but its knob-style setup looks period-correct for the dash housing. But what really puts this over the top as the overall best anytime cruiser is the air conditioning.

This is the kind of motor that will make you proud to lift the hood at car shows. The big block 454 cubic-inch V8 not only has all the correct elements like the orange block paint, air cleaner gasket to utilize the cowl induction hood, and bright valve covers, but it's presented exceptionally well. This is thanks to correct hoses, fittings, and clamps that make this look like it's fresh from the Chevy showroom in 1970. Underneath the car is a different story. Upgraded long tube stainless headers that connect to a Flomaster dual exhaust with H-pipe construction give this SS some extra bite and one ferocious growl. The total power package reliably gets to the ground via a stout TH400 three-speed automatic transmission and 12-bolt rear end. Control stays well in hand thanks to power steering, front disc brakes, and BF Goodrich T/A tires at all four corners.

Big block Chevelles were meant to be black, but only the best are triple-black. This is a turnkey intimidation machine that will find a new owner soon, so you might want to hurry up if it's going to be you. Call today!!
