Nicely upgraded, beautiful, and exceptionally clean, this 1968 Ford Mustang convertible is a turnkey attention grabber. It's a V8, four-speed drop top that presents so well, you could be showing this one off every day.
Silver Blue is a very cool color to have on a convertible. It's distinguished from the red and black classics on the road in a subtle but noticeable way. The paint looks similar to some of the factory colors, but it's an application of modern paint. That provides a level of quality you can see in the gloss and deep luster that pops when the sunlight hits it. But as shiny as the paint is, it's no match for stellar condition of the chrome on places like the bumpers, grill, taillight surround, rocker panels, and the Mustang badging on the fender. This one also doesn't miss out on the details either with the Mustang's Mag wheels, and the Deluxe hood with functional turn signals for the driver embedded in the vents.
Inside this Mustang has been nicely upgraded to feel premium without losing the vintage appearance. The black vinyl bucket seats look great and retain the nice ribbed pattern that's repeated in the back seat and on the door panels. The driver also gets the ... Please ask for the full description.

Inside this Mustang has been nicely upgraded to feel premium without losing the vintage appearance. The black vinyl bucket seats look great and retain the nice ribbed pattern that's repeated in the back seat and on the door panels. The driver also gets the great round gauge package that came on later versions of the first-gen Mustangs. You start to notice the nice upgraded pieces the moment you sit down, and you right arm rests against a new center console with a welcomed addition of cup holders. Of course there were no AM/FM/CD stereos in '68, but now this upgrade lets you cruise listening to the most modern tunes. Best of all, you left hand grabs the three-spoke sports steering wheel, and your right one gets a Hurst sports shifter.
This is a C-code Mustang, so you get the famous 289 cubic-inch V8 under the hood. It has all the right factory elements like the blue engine block and air cleaner, and it also has a bit of upgraded flash, with elements like the performance valve covers. But what really should excite the driver in you is that all the belts, hoses, and wires look fresh and tidy - a true sign of good recent maintenance. This Mustang is built to get the most out of its V8 with the howl of the Flowmaster cross-pipe exhaust and control of the upgraded four-speed manual transmission. And you'll enjoy the ride thanks to power steering, front disc brakes, and BF Goodrich T/A tires at all four corners.
You're looking at a classic that's ready to open up and enjoy the sunny days today. It even comes with the owner's manual and Marti Report to give you something extra to show off at the car show this weekend. It's a desirable classic that's ready to run for the first person quick enough to harness this well-sorted pony. Call now!!
