Original Bill of Sale | Owner's Manual |
You're looking at the ultimate muscle car sleeper pickup that also has all the right features for a comfortable classic cruiser. This 1970 Chevrolet C10 looks like an immaculately restored truck, but underneath the metal lies features like a performance 468 V8 and overdrive transmission.
First thing you want to do is take a real long look at the near perfect paint. This is a tribute to the truck's original olive and white scheme. But today you can tell the metallic green has far more depth thanks to modern paint practices and plenty of clearcoat. It gives this Chevy the feeling of originality while getting a great slippery shine in the sunlight. For a color like this to be on a pickup, the body needs to be as straight as this one, because imperfections have no place to hide. That's a rare find on vehicles intended as workhorses, and it can still even be used as a pickup thanks to the spray-in bedliner. From the shiny bumpers, to the delicate trim, to the bold grille, all of this brightwork gives this C10 an upscale look. No body modifications, no cowl hood, and no questionable graphics... just a solid, straight great old pickup, in a great color combination. It even has classic ...
It even has classic Chevy Rally wheels.
Inside there are a few hints to this C10's performance nature mixed in with the very cool original-style interior. The green vinyl bench seat has comfortable cloth inserts for the driver and passenger. This is in the spirit of the optional green interior, but you can tell from the seat's condition that it received plenty of attention during the restoration. The same is seen on the dash, carpets, and intricate door panels. This one has been upgraded with an AM/FM/CD stereo, but you can't tell from looking at the center panel. Rather than ruin the vintage appearance, a cool custom overhead console controls the modern tunes. From the driver's seat you get a three-spoke wood sports steering wheel. Beyond that are the factory gauges with the addition of a Sunpro Super Tach on the column. These little upgrades really start to give you the picture of what's under the hood.
Yes, that's big block power in the engine bay. But if that wasn't already enough, this V8 was built less than 2,000 miles ago with some serious performance upgrades. The 454 cubic-inch block was bored and stroked for a final displacement of 468. Plus, it has a roller cam, roller rockers, and topped with a Holley intake and four-barrel carburetor (and you just thought it looked good!) But there's much more to this pickup than the intimidating presence that's announced by the long tube headers and dual exhaust. It has a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and front disc brakes. Plus, this C10 generation had a trailing arm rear suspension. So you now know this muscle truck is also a comfortable cruiser.
Quick, stylish, and incognito – this Chevy is one great pickup that even comes with its original bill of sale and owner's manual. And we never even had to mention how this affordable restored classic has all the right tools to be a Saturday night intimidator and a Sunday worker. Call today!!
