Here's a vintage truck that's a true total package. This 1948 Chevrolet pickup has amazing paint, a custom interior, and show-worthy small-block V8. So with such an easily affordable price, we know this won't last long in our showroom.
You instantly standout in this pickup. The two-tone metallic gray and copper colors give it a Harley-Davidson kind of feel, and the way the colors are combined through an airbrushed custom design gives this even more appeal than a custom chopper. But this pickup is more than just a serious investment in the paint. The bodywork is stellar. All hints of the truck's workman's past have been erased, and there is a lot of custom work, too. The front bumper has been removed so you can better see the mirror-like chrome of the iconic five-bar grille. The hood now has cool louvers. The doors have modern aerodynamic mirrors. The real wood in the bed is a stellar blond standout. The rear has a custom tailgate that proudly proclaims the pickup's birth year, and that also sets up the custom taillights and vented roll pan. So yes, there was a ton invested in creating this Chevy. It's all capped off by iconic American Racing Torq Thrust wheels on a lowered, more aggressive suspension.
Step inside and the premium and custom feelings continue. The two-tone gray of the thick carpets and custom door panels are the perfect setup to the high-back seats borrowed from a late model Chevy. In-between the two buckets is a custom center console with the always-welcomed addition of cup holders. You get to grab the small diameter black and chrome sports steering wheel and gaze over a full AutoMeter gauge setup. The rumble of the dual exhaust will always be your favorite soundtrack, but if you need a break from that, there's also the AM/FM/CD stereo with plenty of power to hear your favorite tunes.
The standard Thriftmaster six-cylinder engine that came with this Chevy 3100 would never do in a truck this cool. Instead, it upgrades to iconic small-block power with a 350 cubic-inch V8. The Edelbrock air cleaner and valve covers make this motor ready for the car show, but they also dug deeper into the Edelbrock catalog for a performance intake and four-barrel carburetor. Add in headers and a Flowmaster exhaust, and you've got a serious power package that also has the bark to match its bite. But this is much more than just a unique pickup to show off on the custom car scene. There's a lot of comfort in this custom build, too. It has a four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive for all-day cruising. Plus, it's a power steering pickup with an independent front suspension and front disc brakes.
A stunning show-quality truck that knocks 'em dead wherever it goes and drives everywhere with ease. This awesome Chevy is one heck of a machine. Call today before it's gone tomorrow!
