This included new pistons, titanium connecting rods, a cold-air intake, revised exhaust headers, and a dry-sump lubrication. One twist of the key and you're greeted to a raucous growl that you never thought a modern car would ever be capable of producing. The six-speed has the rowing action familiar to Camaro fans, but the ratios are much closer so you can really enjoy this on private tarmac. The fully independent suspension is a wonderfully engineered dance of technology. Not only does it use known components like modern bushings and anti-roll bars, but it also utilizes cutting-edge race car equipment like spool-valve dampers. The result is a vehicle that will embarrass more expensive hardware wherever you challenge it. There is a traction management system (no, not traction control) that helps understand where to send the rear wheel torque to optimize cornering and traction without losing speed. This works in conjunction with features like the race-inspired carbon-ceramic brakes, power steering, and the original Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires to create a feeling where you are in control and sticking to the blacktop like glue.
