In the mid-30s, International Harvester only produced the C-Series for a few years, but its distinctive front end really helped it standout from the pack. That sprit is only amplified when the pickup is given a full streetrod upgrade. It starts up front with the deep V of the grille that's perfect for the aggressively forward leaning machine. It continues on the cab that's been chopped to follow this stance. And even the iconic Cragar wheels follow this intimidating feeling, too, with a staggered 14/15-inch front/rear size and exceptionally tall drag tires. The metallic pink paint has the kind of luster that outshines chrome, and so this one draws a crowd without having to use too much brightwork. In fact, with the shaved door handles, black mirrors, and painted headlight surrounds, this pickup has a very modern appearance to go with its vintage silhouette. Plus, the black fenders and black bed create a hint of a two-tone effect. Inside the bed is a great looking real-wood floor. When you want to understand how thoughtful this build is, all you have to do is release the pins to reveal the custom frame. Not only is this a tidy setup, but also the fuel tank and batteries are placed low and even for superior weight distribution.

After all, the diamond pattern looks great on the doors, panels, and headliner, but International fans will also see a resemblance to the company's classic logo. There's a pair of comfortable bucket seats, and you also get nice features like power windows and a woodgrain steering wheel. But the moment you sit down, and gaze at the bright floor plating, outlaw skull shifter, and full gauge pack, you can tell you'll be in for one wild ride.

The powerplant is on display for everyone to see, because the Internationals never got anything as wild as this from the factory. The shine of the air grabber, valve covers, exhaust, alternator, and much more will draw in the crowds, and you have the substance to really impress them all. The 350 cubic-inch small block features, four-bolt main bearings, 10:1 pistons, Crane cam, Mallory Promaster coil, custom aluminum radiator, Accel hi-temp plug wires, Edelbrock Performer intake, and a Holley 550 CFM four-barrel carburetor. All of this means one heck of a wicked rumble from the dual exhaust even just standing still. Making sure all of this power reliably gets to the ground is a stout TH400 three-speed automatic with a B&M shift kit. This feeds a limited slip Ford 9-inch rear Strange axles and a 3.55 ratio. Up front there's a Mustang II-style independent suspension and disc brakes. The rear keeps those massive Nitto Extreme Drag tires on the road with a four-link suspension and adjustable coilovers.
