SHARP, 350 V8, AUTO, CODDINGTON WHEELS, FRNT PWR DISC/PWR STEER, NICE PNT, INT!

This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro SS convertible is exactly what you want when you're a well-rounded classic car owner. The paint has a wonderful luster for those who love to go to car shows; it has well-coordinated interior with the right upgrades; and the 350ci V8 begs to be taken out to enjoy on sunny day cruises.

There's a reason why this blue looks so shiny and new. It's a true modern clearcoat with a luster that instantly conveys a nice investment. You have some of the best elements from the first-generation Camaro on this convertible, including the front air dam, D80 rear spoiler, and the unmistakable power bulge of the cowl induction hood. Plus, you can never go wrong with the correct SS badging on the grille, fenders and gas cap. Brightwork is excellent, from the thin chrome bumpers, to the full windshield surround, to the delicate side trim that covers the flared fenders and rockers. Even the upgraded Boyd Coddington wheels seems extra bright. But this Camaro also has a dark side. The optional painted black D90 'hockey stick” stripe does a great job of coordinating with the dark interior and the crisp black folding roof, so this one looks great with the top up, or down.

Plus, you can never go wrong with the correct SS badging on the grille, fenders and gas cap. If the exterior did not convince you there was a quality restoration done in the last two years, the interior absolutely will. Everything looks clean, black, and fresh, including the door panels, carpeting, and dash panel. The low-back bucket seats look like they are straight from '68, and in-between them is the desirable center console with iconic horseshoe shifter. There's also an AM/FM/cassette stereo to keep everyone entertained. But the moment you sit down, you know this one was specially built for the driver. It starts with the grippy factory three-spoke steering wheel. This gives you a commanding view of the dual pod gauges and the column-mounted tach. Plus, there are more auxiliary readouts tastefully mounted at eye level. These are all indications there's something special under the hood.

One look at the engine bay, and you'll see the fender callouts weren't lying. That's Chevy's powerful and trusty 350 cubic-inch V8 powering this Camaro. Sure, it looks nice with the polished air topper and bright Edelbrock valve covers radiating from within the dark engine bay... but you'll love it even more when you start it up. The Holley performance carburetor and Weiand intake let this V8 inhale deeply, and it exhales with authority thanks to the performance long-tube headers feeding the Flowmaster dual exhaust. This gives the Camaro a sinister rumble that radiates from outward like growling animal. But as much as this is meant to sound like a wild creature, it's quite easy to tame the beast. With features like power steering, a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission, and front disc brake package, this is a pleasure to drive to the cruise-in.

A turnkey ready classic in a well-coordinated total package. And with such a sweet rumble from the V8, you know this one won't be waiting in our showroom long. Call now!!
