FULLY RESTORED, 1979 FRONT END, FRESH 460CI, ALMOST ALL NEW PARTS, MUST SEE!

So you missed your chance to own one of Ford's biggest heavy-duty haulers back in the '70s? Well, don't fret about it, because this 1975 Ford F250 4x4 is about as close as you're going to get to a brand new one. With a list of new components that fills two pages and paint that's about six months old, this is a turn-key truck from an era when trucks were not bashful about having a few rough edges.

The gold paint looks period-perfect on the big Ford's sheetmetal, and the shine is worlds better than mid-70s technology would have permitted. Experts will note that the front sheetmetal is from a 1979 model, but that's only because the guy who built it liked the way it looked better, and who can argue? It has a familiar look to anyone older than about 25, and this is one of the cleanest big truck designs ever and isn't trying to be anything other than a big, bad pickup. Coming out of Colorado, the sheetmetal is in great condition and the repaint was done to an excellent standard, and there's no evidence that it's ever been rusty or wrecked. Heck, it doesn't even look like it's had to work for its meals! The trim is largely restored, with re-chromed bumpers, polished stainless, and a brand new ... Please ask for the full description.

The trim is largely restored, with re-chromed bumpers, polished stainless, and a brand new grille up front. The 8-foot bed is finished with a spray-in bedliner and diamond-plate rails for protection, and you'll be shocked by how much gear this big guy can haul. There's probably nothing it can't move!

The list of new stuff continues inside, where the seat covers, carpets, door panels, seat belts, and headliner are all freshly installed reproductions. It has a definite 1970s vibe, kind of like that old country and western bar you used to go to, and it really works here. A long list of options make this F250 the proverbial Texas limousine, including a tilt column, ice cold A/C, power steering and brakes, and a great-sounding Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo system. The gauges are original but look fantastic for their age, and there's plenty of simulated burled walnut to give it a bit of '70s ambience, which is suddenly cool again. Tinted glass helps keep everything cool inside and color-matched floor mats are protecting those new carpets. And sitting up that high definitely makes you feel like you can go anywhere and do anything in this truck.

The engine is a freshly rebuilt 460 cubic inch V8, and by fresh, we mean only shake-down miles. A Holley 4-barrel carburetor handles induction duties and it's been nicely dressed with an open-element air cleaner and chrome valve covers, along with traditional Ford Blue engine paint. The A/C components are all-new as well, and all the accessories, from the water pump to the power steering pump, were replaced. Underneath, the transmission and transfer case were also rebuilt and the 4-speed transmission includes a new clutch, pressure plate, and throwout bearing, the U-joints in the driveshafts are new, and both axles hang on new leaf springs and shocks. The dual exhaust system features turbo-style mufflers for a great big block sound, and both gas tanks were removed, cleaned, and reinstalled. Handsome aluminum wheels make it look sporty and carry giant 35x12.50-15 BFGoodrich off-road radials that are the right size on this brute.

There's even more new and improved gear on this truck than we can mention here. For all the details on this ultra-clean 4x4, give us a call today!
