If it's a stock Bronco you seek, well, we have plenty of those. But if you're looking for something that can play in the dirt with the best of them, this modified 1971 Bronco might be more to your liking. More horsepower never hurts, either, and with a 351 cubic inch V8 under the hood, this Bronco is as entertaining on the road as off.
Off-roading fans seem to fall into the same groups as muscle car fans, but the Bronco seems to have an edge over its competition in terms of popularity and values. The early trucks like this are red hot in the market, and that was surely behind the build which uses top-quality components and great attention to detail to create something special. The bright electric blue paint isn't stock, but it looks fantastic on the boxy sheetmetal of the vintage off-roader. The steel underneath is in excellent condition and doesn't look like it's spent much time off-road since it was completed. Much of the trim has been blacked out or painted body color, including the grille, giving it an updated look that gets a lot of attention without losing what makes these trucks so popular. Obvious upgrades include the big tubular front and rear bumpers, oversized fender flares, and subtle '351' badges on the front fenders, which we'll get to in a moment.
If you need to know how extensively this Bronco has been upgraded, look no farther than the incredible interior. With color-matched Corbeau bucket seats wearing weather-resistant covers and 5-point harnesses, it's a no-holds-barred off-road performer. The industrial-strength look is enhanced by the spray-in bedliner material on the floors and the extensive use of diamond-plate trim on the door panels and transmission tunnel, and a modified roll cage. The factory gauges and switch gear were used during the transformation, but are joined by new knobs for the new HVAC system and a big tachometer on the steering column. A Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo system has also been added, so you know this Bronco isn't 100% dedicated to performance but is also comfortable and easy to drive in traffic. And for a little extra style, both the main and secondary shifters are topped with custom knobs from Tom's Bronco Parts and there's a modern steering wheel that's easy to grab. And if you like the way this truck looks now, it comes with both a bikini soft top and its original hardtop as well.
You could get your Bronco with a small block, but the 351 cubic inch V8 is bigger than anything installed by the factory. Upgraded with Edelbrock aluminum heads with a matching intake and Holley 4-barrel, it makes power like a Mustang and enough torque to allow it to power through truly rough terrain. With a modern HEI ignition system, it starts instantly and runs smoothly and with power steering and brakes make it easy to maneuver. A big radiator keeps it cool and long-tube headers not only sound fantastic but help build torque at low speeds. The 4-speed transmission and modified transfer case are up to the horsepower and there's a full James Duff suspension underneath, complete with a lift kit, new control arms, and chassis reinforcements. Oversized 17-inch Pro Comp aluminum wheels are fitted with giant 315/70/17 Pro Comp off-road radials and give it an awesome stance.
There's far more in this Bronco than we can possibly describe here, so please give us a call for all the details. This is a very impressive truck at a very affordable price. Call now!
