LOTS OF CUSTOM WORK, AIR RIDE SUSPENSION, SLICK 2 TONE PAINT, CUSTOM INTERIOR

There's nothing cooler than getting someone else's finished project for a fraction of the build price. This 1995 Chevy C1500 extended cab is the kind of truck that gets big attention anywhere it goes and probably cost a fortune to build thanks to custom paint, interior, and a slammed air bag suspension. Today, however, it's available for pennies on the dollar, a high-profile rig with all the hard work already done.

There are a ton of tricks in this truck and the least of them is the ground-scraping stance. The black and silver paint job is elegant and timeless, so it won't look dated like so many other sport trucks. A flash of red bisecting the two colors adds just the right amount of color to really grab your attention and makes the paint job looks crisp and clean. Modifications are extensive, starting with the ram air hood and smooth front bumper up front, a trick suicide-style driver's door, and a resculpted bed floor that allows it to lay frame and hides the air suspension hardware. You'll also note the usual tricks like shaved door handles, tinted glass, and a billet grille, which are probably required upgrades on a truck like this. It's clearly an older build and there are some ... Please ask for the full description.

It's clearly an older build and there are some signs of age and use, but it does nothing to detract from the eyeball-popping overall look. Custom headlights, smoked turn signals, and blacked-out taillights add to the monochromatic look.

Pickup trucks shouldn't look as good as this one does inside. Custom bucket seats mirror the exterior color scheme with high-quality vinyl seat covers featuring red alligator skin inserts. The original dash has been painted like the bodywork, too, with red being the focus color here, and there's a custom center console between the seats with a pop-out screen for an iPad, plus custom gauges and switches for the extensive air suspension setup. As an extended cab truck, there's a reasonably usable back seat area which has also been custom upholstered to match the front seat, an extra step that a lot of custom guys skip for budget reasons. The OEM equipment that makes this truck daily-driver comfortable, including the gauges, A/C system, and power windows, is all GM stuff so it's also reliable. An upgraded AM/FM/CD/iPod stereo head unit fits neatly in the original radio's slot in the dash and there are speakers throughout the interior.

Trucks like this aren't about all-out speed, so the 305 cubic inch V8 offers plenty of power and performance for this sleek custom. It's fairly tame, but there are custom touches here and there that make it work well with the rest of the truck. There's the red radiator shroud, a chrome air cleaner with matching valve covers, and Flowmaster mufflers with turn-downs ahead of the rear axle. The inner fenders have obviously been modified to handle the slammed stance, but it's nice to see that they're still in place for protection. The front suspension is largely stock save for the air springs, while out back there's a parallel 4-link setup that lays low without interference. A 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission makes it a comfortable highway cruiser, and with flashy 20-inch wheels and performance rubber, it has plenty to fill the big wheel arches.

Very affordable, this cool truck also attracts attention in a very big way. You couldn't duplicate it for twice the asking price, so go on and have some fun. Call today!
