The Ford Mustang is 50 this year, but in 1999 Ford brought out a face-lifted 35th Anniversary model that gave the formerly soft-looking pony a bit of an edge. This low-mileage anniversary model is loaded with options and shows just 34,125 original miles, making it a good choice for fun today and perhaps an investment tomorrow.
The SN95 Mustangs were a big step forward, but for some their looks were a little soft, so Ford remedied the situation in 1999 with a thoroughly updated Mustang that definitely gained some attitude. Finished in bright silver, it has a subtle look that works rather well with the aggressive body details like the scooped hood and rear wing. You can still see echoes of the original in the C-scoop and running pony emblem, but the profile and sleek overall look are still contemporary today. As a fair-weather cruiser that was always treated like something of value, this Mustang remains in good condition considering the relatively 34k on the clock. Build quality was quite good in 1999 and this anniversary model carries special badging to commemorate the occasion.
Anniversary models also received some interior upgrades, including two-tone leather bucket seats and a long list ... Please ask for the full description.

Description
Anniversary models also received some interior upgrades, including two-tone leather bucket seats and a long list of standard features. The seats have a comfortable look and only minor signs of age, and despite the open-air experience, the leather's in great shape. Nice black carpets are protected by embroidered floor mats and the door panels have a silver insert that adds a dramatic effect. The options list includes power windows and locks, cruise control, a tilt wheel, A/C, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo system, which was quickly becoming a rare feature in 1999. The gauges were treated to a special surround with 35h Anniversary graphics in the center, just to remind you that this isn't a garden-variety Mustang. A redesigned convertible top powers itself in the rear well and sits below the body line, so it looks sleek and clean even without the boot installed. And while Mustangs were never famous for their giant trunks, this one is usefully shaped and shows zero signs of use.
The engine is a revised 4.6 liter SOHC V8 that powered a whole generation of Mustangs following the demise of the 5.0. Almost as easy to modify as its venerable pushrod ancestor, this one remains entirely stock, which is good news if you're looking for a Mustang that hasn't been raced or abused. It runs beautifully, idling smoothly and pulling with seemingly bottomless reserves of torque, and unlike the 5.0, it doesn't seem to run out of breath at high RPM. The engine bay is very neatly detailed with a great factory look that will surely earn it some trophies. The underside is so tidy that it's easy to believe it has never seen snow or winter weather, and the factory catalytic converters and mufflers are still in place, a sure sign of a Mustang that has never been modified. Handsome machine-finish 17-inch alloys are fitted with 245/45/17 Kumho radials, perhaps only the second set of tires this car has ever worn.
Documented with the original window sticker, owner's manual, and maintenance records, plus all the accessories that were part of the 35th Anniversary package, this is a fast, fun pony car with a pedigree that'll always be a favorite summertime driver. Call today!
