If you think second-generation Camaros aren't a big deal, then you need to take a good, long look at this 1970 Camaro Z/28 RS. Insanely fast and beautifully built, it is a magazine feature car that more than delivers on the promises made by its incredible good looks.
The paint was done for show and there's no other way to describe it other than amazing. Now that second-gen cars are getting some love, people aren't afraid to spend big on them and there must be hundreds of hours wrapped up in the bodywork on this Camaro. The steel is super straight, the crease along its flanks is sharp enough to cut paper, and thanks to two-stage urethane, the shine is impossibly deep. A cowl-induction hood is the lone modification, but when this car shows up, everyone seems to realize it's something special and not a run-of-the-mill F-body. The black stripes are buried under the clear for a seamless look and the low-rise spoiler on the deck lid offers a sleeker look. Beautiful chrome, nice glass and lenses, and superb assembly quality all make this car worthy of the big trophies.
The interior is as radical as the exterior is subtle, and the working environment is definitely up to date. Deeply bolstered ... Please ask for the full description.

Deeply bolstered Recaro buckets were custom upholstered with leather and suede and borrow some styling from the Ford GT40 and Ferrari Daytona, but if you're going to copy something, those are excellent choices. Custom under-dash lighting gives it an other-worldly effect, and everything is new and in excellent shape. A custom center console houses the horseshoe shifter which now offers four forward gears instead of the usual three (more on that in a moment). White-faced gauges slot into the original instrument panel, which has also been custom-finished with white stitching for a very high-quality look. A custom Kenwood stereo system sounds fantastic and a custom A/C system was installed that uses subtle vents and expert craftsmanship to stay out of sight. The trunk is also custom finished with powerful subwoofers and amplifiers, all hidden behind a custom panel that looks very trick.
There are no disappointments in the horsepower area, either, with a built LS3 from Billy Briggs Racing Engines providing motive force. Dyno tested at 595 horsepower, this 416 cubic inch aluminum small block puts out big block numbers without sacrificing its user-friendly nature. A custom fuel injection system from FAST means that it starts easily and idles well under all conditions and the power curve is smooth. Hedman long-tube headers help build torque (there's 502 lb. ft. on tap) and it's dressed for show with lots of polished aluminum and custom details under the hood. A 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission shuttles horsepower back to a 12-bolt with 4.11 gears with PositTaction, but with the deep overdrive, it's still a fantastic highway car. Flowmaster mufflers provide that unbeatable cackle and with four-wheel disc brakes, custom A-arm suspension, and a trick torque arm rear suspension this Camaro handles like a modern supercar. Classic Torque Thrust wheels are updated with oversized rubber that keeps that old-school look while delivering modern performance.
The guys at "Super Chevy" magazine went crazy, and the car is every bit as spectacular as it looks in photos. With just 3100 shake-down miles since it was built, this is a car that's ready to collect some serious awards or just go out and break some hearts. Call today!
