Description
There is nothing like a true classic car. A century ago, the automotive world was really just beginning to become genuinely fun. Of course, the engines and suspensions left quite a bit to be desired compared to today's modern marvels, but with this beautiful 1931 Chevrolet Sedan with Trailer, you can have the best of both worlds. The all-steel fenders and body panels, which are believed to be original, are covered with pristine black and tan paint with red piping. The color-matched Coca-Cola branded trailer is connected to a multi-point welded hitch and is properly wired, allowing for this Chevy to tow more than just the trailer if so desired.
Inside is a handsomely appointed redone red and tan interior featuring plush bucket seats up front and a matching bench in the back. The aluminum dashboard uses updated analog gauges to give accurate and immediate feedback, while a trick Grant GT steering wheel lets you know this car is ready to haul, however you want to.
The powertrain of this classic reads like a performance parts wish list. A 350 cubic-inch small block four-bolt main Goodwrench crate V-8 sits under the hood. That engine is topped with a four-barrel Edelbrock carb and a matching Edelbrock Performer EPS aluminum intake. Shorty headers give way to a Glasspack-style dual exhaust setup to produce a unique throwback sound. Power is routed through a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission, and out to a nine-inch rearend. A four-link suspension at both the front and rear connects to a set of fifteen-inch Supreme wheels which are shod in 195/65R-15 rubber up front and larger 215/75R-15 out back, while power brakes stand ready to reign in speed at a moment's notice.
