It's hard not to fall in love/lust with a classic muscle car that has subtle updates. This 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 has a gone through a complete restoration to give it a modern shine and more growl from the 302 the V8. So you're not the only one who is going to find this value price irresistible.
There was a lot of time, effort, and money put into this coupe, and you can see it the moment it gets out in the sunshine. The modern clearcoat in the white paint has given this color the kind of depth it could never have when new. Plus, it makes the perfect backdrop for the black trim to standout. There's no better way to showcase a Mach 1 than with the NACA ram air hood treatment and side hockey stick stripes. Plus the black font air damn and rear spoiler are great sporty touches. The whole white & black package looks great on a body as straight and clean as this one. Given the choice, we think it was the right decision to keep the factory-style with the front bumper body colored but leave the rear in chrome where it matches the gas cap and dual exhaust tips. Of course this is not the only obvious shine on the pony car. The BOSS alloy wheels nicely blend a chrome-like presence with ... Please ask for the full description.

Given the choice, we think it was the right decision to keep the factory-style with the front bumper body colored but leave the rear in chrome where it matches the gas cap and dual exhaust tips. Of course this is not the only obvious shine on the pony car. The BOSS alloy wheels nicely blend a chrome-like presence with the shiny black spokes. And they're staggered size makes for the perfect hint at an aggressive stance.
The restoration of the interior was done in a muscle car friendly black. The bucket seats, door panels, carpeting, headliner and nearly everything else inside feels fresh and new. All the gauges are clear, including the water temp auxiliary readout. Ford also wanted a luxury image for the Mach 1, and so this one has nice features like a center console, clock, and high back bucket seats. This restored coupe brings its tradition of amenities into modern times with a Grant GT sports steering wheel, digital AM/FM/cassette stereo, and ice-cold air conditioning.
The engine bay is another great place that shows off the restoration. Everything looks great with tidy paint and plenty of shine from the air cleaner and Ford Motorsport valve covers. But beneath this solid appearance is the legendary 302 Ford V8 heart. It starts up swiftly, and you'll love the extra rumble created by the performance headers that feed the Flowmaster dual exhaust. But once again, the Mach I was about more than just power. With features like a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering and the modern grip of Falken tires, this one is an easy choice to go cruising on the weekends, too.
This is that vintage long-body Mustang of your modern dreams. It's the aggressive Mach 1 packaging restored and upgraded to make it easier to show off and drive every day. Don't let this deal slip through your fingers. Call today!!!
