NICE TORONADO, DELUXE INTERIOR, VERY CLEAN INSIDE/OUT, ORIGINAL 425CI V8!

Sleek, interesting, and distinctive. This 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado is quite original from it's numbers-matching big block up front to the turbine-inspired hubcaps.

The Toronado represented sporty elegance, and it was something truly unique that we now know represented he perfect crossroads of '60s style and technology. That's why these first-year marvels won the 1966 Motor Trend Car of the Year award. They also marked the first time a U.S. production car was front wheel drive since the 1937 Cord. So when it's this significant, you want to make sure an Olds like this is being present in its factory-correct code-U Dubonnet paint. But the car goes beyond the impossibly long hood, muscular wheel arches, and sloping rear end that today looks very European. This Toronado could not be this striking unless all of its badging, trim, and form-fitting chrome bumpers were in place. That's why we love this coupe. It's a gorgeous design that's well maintained, and it's still offered at an affordable price.

The Deluxe interior looks fantastic today thanks in no small part to new seat covers front and rear. In fact, this car was all about offering luxuries for both the rows. The front-wheel ... Please ask for the full description.

It's a gorgeous design that's well maintained, and it's still offered at an affordable price.

The Deluxe interior looks fantastic today thanks in no small part to new seat covers front and rear. In fact, this car was all about offering luxuries for both the rows. The front-wheel drive gave it a flat floor for the whole carload to stretch out their legs. Olds was even thoughtful enough to give the rear seat their own door latch so no one had to let them out. But up front was still where all the best features were. The split-bench has an armrest to provide the driver with the feeling of a personal luxury car. The steering wheel and all the original gauges are proof that sometimes the designers got to put their dreams into production. Plus, features like power windows, power seats, cruise control, and a modern AM/FM/CD stereo will easily keep you happy even over long distances.

Under the hood is the original numbers-matching 425 cubic-inch V8. The Super Rocket big block makes some of the best power of the era thanks to the factory Rochester Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor that's still on this coupe today. These cars were considered revolutionary with the TH400 three-speed automatic powering the front wheels. In fact, this first-year Toronado became an engineering benchmark for other projects. But what you really want to know is how this one glides down the road like a true big block luxury car should. Features like the power steering, power brakes, and modern radial tires give this a true '60s cruiser feeling.

A Toronado like this offers a lot of vintage appeal for a very reasonable price. So you might want to hurry up before the market catches on to this big block bargain. Call today!!!
