BIG BLOCK ATTITUDE, 4 SPEED FUN, EDELBROCK CARB/INTAKE, LONG TUBES, SUMMER FUN!

A 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 tribute is already a darn attractive car in its black-on-black appearance. But you'll find it irresistible when you dig deeper and find out this affordable one is also turn-key ready with plenty of performance goodies on the big block and the control of a four-speed stick-shift.

We always love the look of a modern clearcoat black on a well-prepared muscle car like this. 1971 is arguably one of the best years for Chevelles with the single headlight setup, and its long, streamlined rear deck. It looks particularly nice on this example because the wide form-fitting bumpers have a mirror-like shine that can attract people from across a show field. Someone spent a lot of time and money getting the big picture right to create the aggressive package and this car looks downright menacing. The expensive details are correct like the power bulge cowl induction-style hood, 15-inch Rally wheels, and expertly applied dual white SS stripes that are part of the clearcoat finish – that way the light rolls evenly between the dark black and the bright stripes.

The exterior's sporting attitude was built into the interior, too. It comes complete with black bucket seats, ... Please ask for the full description.

It comes complete with black bucket seats, dark carpets, and slick door panels with a trim line that runs the entire length of the interior. Your left hand will love the wood rimmed three-spoke steering wheel, and your right one rests comfortably on the Hurst shifter. Intermediate-sized Chevelles in 1971 were certainly large enough to carry plenty of family and friends, and so you have a nice upgrade to a Audiosound digital AM/FM tuner with an aux input for modern music players. But as the driver, we know your favorite soundtrack comes every time you twist the key and hear the big block roar.

One look under the hood, and you know a performance driver was in charge of this build. Sure, it has a very tidy setup, and the air grabber and valve covers have a terrific shine. But beyond the style is some true substance. The 454 is already a legendary powerhouse for these coupes, and this one has been upgraded with go-fast goodies like an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Performer 2.0 intake, and long tube headers. So you know this Chevelle gives off a ferocious growl from the H-pipe dual exhaust. Best of all, you have complete control over this monster V8 and its thunderous soundtrack thanks to the four-speed manual transmission. Add in thick sway bars (front & rear), power steering, and front disc brakes, and you soon realize it's quite easy to tame this beastly big block Chevelle.

A beautiful turn-key muscle machine that has all the right features and plenty of power. When such a desirable classic is this ready to hit the streets, you know it's going to be leaving us quickly. Call today!!!
