#'S MATCHING 327, CORRECT NASSAU BLUE, MATCHED HARDTOP, FACTORY AIR, PW!!

There are a lot of mid-year Vettes out there, but few can boast a pedigree like this one. Loaded with an attractive and original color combo, a #'s matching 327 CI, loads of docs and A/C, this one is sure to get to the top of your list.

Nassau Blue is this car's original color, and it's a great look on a Stingray ragtop. Like its namesake, it's bright and sunny, with a very nautical bent to it, and on the Corvette's instantly-recognizable curves, it looks fabulous. The paint was refinished several years ago, but as you can see, the car was garage-kept since the work was complete, rather than driven, and that level of care can still be seen today. Gaps are even, the fiberglass substrate is solid and devoid of cracks, and the way the light moves over the car's Coke-bottle shape makes the paint seem iridescent thanks to just the right amount of metallic. Add in bright chrome trim, correct badges, and ribbed rocker trim, and this Corvette looks ready to hit the road immediately.

Inside, fresh black leather (not vinyl) seat covers have been fitted, and there's something about sliding behind the wheel of a 2-seat sports car with genuine cow skins on the seat. Perhaps it's a link to our ... Please ask for the full description.

Inside, fresh black leather (not vinyl) seat covers have been fitted, and there's something about sliding behind the wheel of a 2-seat sports car with genuine cow skins on the seat. Perhaps it's a link to our motoring past, but the way leather smells and feels is as much a part of the motoring experience as the hum of the engine or rumble of the exhaust. A woodgrained steering wheel feels great, transmitting the front tires' activities directly to your fingertips, and all the gauges show crisp markings that let you keep an eye on the engine's status. Power windows, factory A/C, and a freshly-rebuilt AM/FM radio are all highly desirable options that make this one a delight to drive. Race-style shoulder harnesses have been fitted, so if you feel like taking in a track day or two, the car is ready to rock. And if the weather turns, you'll have your choice of both the white convertible top that's in excellent condition and the color-matched hardtop, which comes complete with carrier.

The engine is a correct, #'s matching 327 rated at 300 hp. Linked to a 2-speed Powerglide, it's ideal for both laid-back motoring and quick canyon carving where your right foot does all the work and you can keep both hands on the wheel. Rebuilt to stock specifications save for an MSD ignition system with optical distributor, it looks the way you want your Corvette to look when you tilt the hood forward-you'll never be afraid to open the hood on this one. The chassis is quite clean, with a recent exhaust system and a set of gorgeous knock-offs, complete with lead hammer. Fresh BFG narrow whitewalls are period-appropriate and look great.

A lot of big block owners will secretly admit that they'd prefer a smooth-running small block with an automatic if they were going to drive it every day. With matching numbers, loads of docs and A/C, this one is the best of both worlds. Here's your chance, so call now!
