This 1968 International Scout has plenty of attitude that you instantly recognize from the rugged liner paint on the outside. And with fuel-injected V8 power, a lifted 4x4 stance, and all the right practical upgrades, this is the off-roader that's just as robust as it looks.
An original-style Scout is always a cool classic, but this one is attractive for a very different reason. The liner paint covering the exterior gives this one the kind of boldness that wants to intimidate any other 4x4 out there. And it's not just the paint, this has a ton of practical and rugged upgrades done in the full midnight appearance. Up front, it's a steel bumper with tubular brush guard and a Warn winch. The sides have upgraded 17-inch wheels and tubular side steps. The rear bumper is diamond plate steel with mounting points, and there's also a proper trailer hitch. Even the folding soft top fits on with this blackout total package. But as dark as this Scout is, it also knows how to light the way forward.
You have upgraded H4 headlights, and when those aren't enough, you also have an LED light bar to turn night into day.
Inside is a bold orange that goes nicely with the black accents, like the tough liner paint on the floor. So the interior is both distinctive and functional. This one is ready for serious off-road business. It starts with Corbeau suspension seats for everyone (front & rear). Plus, you have a full roll bar package, complete with fire extinguisher attached. This 4x4 is about keeping the driver in control. So you a grippy steering wheel mounted on a tilt column, and beyond that are crisp Stewart Warner gauges. And that MSD Atomic controller mounted below the dash gives you complete control over a very nice upgrade under the hood.
The engine bay has a clean and mean look. International's own 304 cubic-inch V8 means a unique presentation that also has a hardy reputation. Not only is this a re-manufactured motor, but it's also upgraded with an MSD Atomic electronic fuel injection kit. In fact, with the full MSD ignition kit, too, this V8 loves to fire up easily and run strong. This kind of eager power is exactly what you want on a machine like this. After all, with at least six inches of lift, Skyjacker off-road components, and Deep Cepek tires, this really loves to live up to the International Scout's go-anywhere 4x4 reputation. Plus, power steering, power brakes w/discs up front, and the control of the four-speed manual transmission is great for the street or trail.
This is the cool convertible 4x4 that has a tough attitude and the hardy construction to back it all up. So don't miss out on this unique and useful machine. Call today!!!
