FRESHLY BUILT! CHEVY 350 V8, 4 SPD MAN, COLD A/C, PS, PB W/ FR DISC, GREAT PAINT

Fresh from a comprehensive restoration, this impressive 1968 Chevrolet C10 4x4 pickup has the hardware to go anywhere and the beauty to be at home on the show field. It's also got plenty of performance thanks to a 350 cubic inch V8 and a 4-speed, so regardless of what you're into, this truck definitely delivers.

As far as trucks go, the Chevy C10 of the late-60s and early-70s was one of the better-looking machines, tough-looking for the job site, but still civilized and handsome enough to be driven every day. Thanks to the recent work, the light blue paint shines up brilliantly and shows almost zero signs of use. Underneath that paint is good bodywork that lines up right and doesn't show any major bumps or bruises, so even though this truck was built to play in the dirt, it doesn't appear that anyone has tried it out yet. You don't often see trucks finished to this level, and if you sight down the sides you'll note that the blocking was quite effective in getting the sides laser-straight with minimal distortions and those big fenders handle the oversized tires with ease. Almost all the shiny stuff, including the bumpers and stainless trim, was replaced during the build, so it doesn't have ... Please ask for the full description.

Almost all the shiny stuff, including the bumpers and stainless trim, was replaced during the build, so it doesn't have any of the dings and cloudiness that you see in original stuff. And for practicality's sake, the bed was finished with spray-in bedliner material that should last practically forever.

As nice as the body is, the interior is even nicer. The painted surfaces are all new, just like the exterior, and a fresh black seat cover duplicates the original material and patterns; handsome but not over-done. The steering wheel is a later addition, complete with a fat leather-wrapped rim, but the Chevrolet Bowtie emblem on the horn button adds an OEM look. These trucks carried some of the best-looking gauges, which cover only the basics but remain in good original condition. The floor shifter is for the 4-speed manual transmission, while the shorter lever is for the 2-speed transfer case, all surrounded by a very neat-fitting vinyl floor covering that's durable enough to keep up with the rest of the truck. A new JVC AM/FM/CD/iPod stereo is a neat fit in the dash and sounds quite good out on the road or trail, and a powerful A/C system uses modern hardware to make it especially effective.

For power, this truck uses a torquey 350 cubic inch small block V8, which is a great choice for a big hauler like this. The aluminum intake with its long runners helps with that torque production and it's fed by a 4-barrel Edelbrock carburetor. A few chrome items dress it up although the engine bay has a very stock feel overall. Long-tube headers feed a custom dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers, which exit just ahead of the rear wheels. The suspension is augmented with a 6-inch lift and heavy-duty Rancho shocks and power front disc brakes are a welcome upgrade with that much tire to manage. You can't see any of the surgery that converted the long bed frame to short bed length, and with heavy-duty axles with 4.10 gears inside, it's able to handle the oversized rubber with ease. Oversized American Racing aluminum wheels look right and carry massive 315/75/16 Firestone Destination M/T radials.

Go-anywhere utility never looked so good, and with smart performance improvements, this is a truck that's a pleasure to drive regardless of whether there's a road to follow. Call today!
