Fully dressed with accessories, this tidy 1967 Ford F100 pickup gets things right where it matters: a nice-sounding V8 engine, great color combination, and enough practicality to make the asking price look like a bargain. With pickups being red-hot right now, this entry-level hauler means you don't have to spend another summer on the sidelines.

Looking at the door tag, it sure looks like this truck is wearing original code B Frost Turquoise over code M Wimbledon White, or what appears to be 'MB' on the tag. And even if it's not the truck's exact original color, it does look great, with a sunny, bright disposition that is an ideal choice for a '60s pickup like this. The bodywork looks like it has never lived anywhere that snow and salt would be an issue and it fits together well enough that it doesn't appear to have worked very hard, either. The paint job was done a few years ago and shows a few minor signs of age and use, but the clean, crisp colors and lots of bright trim makes up for any shortcomings in the finish. The long list of accessories I mentioned includes a lot of shiny stuff, including oversized bumper guards, headlight covers, grab handles on the cab, bed rails out back, and dual oversized mirrors. You'll also note that the original brightwork is in great shape, including the bumpers and stainless trim that runs the length of the bodywork and the bed has been helpfully treated to a spray-in bedliner.

With bright blue on the outside, it makes sense to add some contrast inside, so dark blue upholstery went in when the truck was freshened a few years ago. The vinyl bench with cloth inserts is more comfortable than the stock woven plastic upholstery, and with matching door panels and blue carpets, it feels a lot more comfortable and upscale than you'd expect. A matching blue steering wheel is probably original and is admittedly a little rough, but it probably confirms that this truck is wearing its original colors. The dash is also original with simple factory instruments in an oval housing, a column-shifted automatic, and not a lot of frills. Somewhere along the way it got an AM/FM/cassette stereo head unit but otherwise remains pretty stock.

Ford's Y-code 352 cubic inch V8 was the F100's top engine option in 1967, and in fact the only V8 available. Having proven itself for years in cars like the Skyliner retractables and big Galaxies, it suits this pickup just fine. The bright Ford Blue engine looks quite correct, right down to the original-style air cleaner and stamped steel valve covers. It starts easily and has a nice V8 burble from twin tailpipes with glasspack-style mufflers. Power steering and brakes are welcome additions, and the 3-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission suggests that this truck was never really intended to work for a living anyway. The underside is pretty original, including the "Twin I-Beam" front suspension, and the factory 9-inch carries 3.25 gears inside so it's an easy cruiser even at today's highway speeds. Newer shocks improve the ride and it rolls on stock wheels and hubcaps with 255/70/15 Cooper radials that have lots of life left in them.
