BIG FUEL INJECTED POWER, BIG BRAKES, BIG EXHAUST, 468 V8, TREMEC 5-SPEED, FAST!

This 1968 Camaro is pro-touring done right. Big power, big brakes, big exhaust, and the handling to put it all to work, it delivers the classic Camaro look with performance that will humiliate anything else at this price, new or old. If it's the ultimate '68 Camaro you seek, we may have just found it.

At a glance, the beauty of this car is that it's a set of wheels away from looking pretty stock. Of course, you couldn't fit the giant brakes inside a set of Rallys, but the rest looks very factory-fresh. Hugger Orange always looks fantastic on the F-body shape, and with just a few tasteful upgrades like the cowl induction hood and ducktail spoiler, it definitely captures the '60s high-performance look. White SS stripes are, of course, part of the package and even though there are Z/28 badges on the front fenders, we're pretty sure its actual pedigree doesn't particularly matter at this point. Workmanship is extremely good, as you'd expect at this price, with great panel gaps and a deep shine to the paint that indicates a lot of effort and money went into the cosmetics.

The interior was built to keep you in place during spirited driving without diluting the original feel of the car. ... Please ask for the full description.

High-back bucket seats have a somewhat old-school look to them, but with harnesses and custom Z/28 embroidery you know there's something else going on here. A tilt column with a fat custom wheel, big Auto Meter Ultra Lite gauges, and a Hurst shifter for the Tremec 5-speed transmission ensure that the car's ultimate intentions are not misunderstood. The dash has been color-matched to the bodywork, but everything else is stock Camaro, from the door panels to the back seat to the center console. There's an AM/FM/CD stereo in the center of the dash, and with extensive use of Dynamat sound-deadening materials, it actually sounds pretty good, but I'm pretty sure you'll prefer the sound of the big block. The trunk has been soundproofed, too, and the battery was relocated to free up some space under the hood.

They needed that space because there's now a fuel injected 468 cubic inch big block. With 4-bolt mains, an Eagle crank, Manley pistons and rods, and a set of deep-breathing Dart heads, this is no garden-variety big block. FAST fuel injection ensures that it runs well under all conditions and that aluminum intake means you can charge admission to look under the hood. Fabricated valve covers go with the trick intake, and with a beefy aluminum radiator, this one stays cool all the time. The Tremec 5-speed powers a custom 9-inch Ford rear end full of 3.73 gears on a Detroit locker with Moser axles. The front suspension is tubular A-arms and C5 coil-overs with rack-and-pinion steering, while the rear hangs on a 4-link setup from Detroit Speed. Aerospace disc brakes live at all four corners, with 6-piston calipers up front and 4-pistons in back, all on 12-inch vented rotors. A custom 3-inch Flowmaster exhaust sounds like you're being pursued by an angry dog and trick Boze wheels carry pavement-hugging 275/35/18 front and 335/35/18 rear performance radials.

There was a time when a car like this would cost a quarter-million dollars, but today the ultimate F-body is within your reach. Call today!
