The square-jawed third generation Chevy C/K pickups are growing in popularity every day, and the best ones combine the best original features with a few custom touches. This cool regular cab/short bed pickup sports an awesome two-tone color combination, a smooth-running 350-inch V8, and those huge 22-inch steamrollers, giving it a very unique look.

Although it's not the truck's original color scheme, the gorgeous green-over-white paint job that was done a few years ago was thorough. A cowl induction hood was added sometime along the way, giving the truck a proper sporting image that fits right in with its high-performance Chevy siblings. All the original trim was replaced following the repaint as well, including the bright rub strips along the body, the Cheynne badges, and bright chrome bumpers fore and aft that look awesome against the paint. There's also a cool billet insert in the tailgate, just for show. The bed is protected by a tonneau cover, which is fairly weather tight for storage, yet rolls up and stows easily if you need to haul something in a hurry.

One of the strengths of the third-generation C/K pickups was their spacious and comfortable interior. With its original bench ... Please ask for the full description.

The bed is protected by a tonneau cover, which is fairly weather tight for storage, yet rolls up and stows easily if you need to haul something in a hurry.

One of the strengths of the third-generation C/K pickups was their spacious and comfortable interior. With its original bench seat reupholstered in factory-looking black vinyl, it has a fresh look that's still ready to get some work done. Everything remains in great condition with only light wear and absolutely no splits or tears in the upholstery, and everything works as it should. Black carpets add a degree of formality to the interior, as well as helping to control noise and heat from underneath. A complete array of gauges keeps an eye on things underhood, and even the dash pad remains in great condition, despite a life obviously spent in a warm, sunny climate. No, there's no radio, but that only means it's ready for something of your choice, perhaps with a lot of power and an iPod interface.

A 350 cubic inch Chevy crate motor slips right in with zero modifications and thanks to decades of development, all the hot-rod parts bolt right on, including a Holley carburetor. The engine bay is super sanitary, too, more evidence of careful ownership and a healthy climate, and there's evidence of recent maintenance including new plugs, wires, belts, and hoses. It starts easily with a snarky rumble from the custom dual exhaust system with long-tube headers and glasspack-style mufflers, and thanks to the 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission, cruises effortlessly (and efficiently) at high speed. And if you want to make a statement, not much works better than a set of large-by-huge wheels, with these being 22-inch Pacer alloys wearing gigantic 305/40/22 Nexen radials all around.

If you're looking for a clean truck with no needs and a great color combination, you really can't do much better than this. Call today!
