383 V8, 3-SPEED AUTO, PWR STEER, CLEAN DROPTOP MOPAR, SLICK COLOR COMBO, AWESOME

Plenty of V8 power, full-size drop-top appeal, and Mopar rarity all come together on this 1968 Dodge Polara Convertible. So the fact that it's also so affordable is the cherry on top of this red ragtop.

The '68 Polara was one of the most imposing cars out there. Wide bumpers, a recessed grille, quad headlights, and crisply done lines feel like this is out to own the road. The whole car looks good upgraded to a bold red, and the competition-style Torq Thrust wheels are a great addition to remind you that there's proper V8 power under the hood. Everything here looks clean and complete. You'll find areas to improve if you want a showstopper, but we think it's quite nice to have a cruiser with a carefree driver style from day one. And this retains a nice premium side to a full-size convertible. After all, there were some of the most expensive cars in the lineup (and why they are so rare today.) So the details like the intricate rear panel and full-length trim that runs the top of the fenders and doors are all part of the added distinction you want on a classic cruiser.

The white convertible top against the red paint has the same instant appeal as a Coca-Cola bottle, and beneath it is ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

The white convertible top against the red paint has the same instant appeal as a Coca-Cola bottle, and beneath it is an equally attractive white interior. And while the upholstery and door panels are done to be bright and premium, higher traffic areas like the carpet show less dirt because they're in black. You'll even like the little details like the convertible boot done in white and the AM radio still there for display. A full-size drop-top is a great classic cruiser, and so there's plenty of room to fit family and friends across the two wide rows of bench seats. But the driver is always the priority. After all, with power windows and a power convertible top, you never have to lever your seat to open this Dodge up to the world.

When you open the hood, you immediately notice the bright blue Mopar block radiating within the dark and honest engine bay. The large Polaras of this era were always V8 machines, and so it's nice to have the 383 cubic-inch V8 under the hood. It even has upgrades like an Edelbrock AVS2 four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock Performer 383 intake, and an HEI distributor. And this big block classic retains its cool cruising attitude thanks to power steering, power brakes, modern Goodyear tires, and A727 Torqueflite three-speed automatic transmission.

The sale comes complete with the original warranty card and owner's manual. The factory carb and intake also come with the car. This is the unique, attractive, and affordable classic drop-top you can't let get away. Call today!!!
