This 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Restomod has a very cool kind of dilemma. It has the slick paint and custom style that can win you awards at the shows. But since it has a fuel-injected LS3 motor, overdrive transmission, and a comfy A/C interior, it might be hard to get you off the road long enough to show this one off.

This hardtop is the right mix of classic and well-placed upgrades. It starts with the paint. The color holds close to the 1969-correct Cortez Silver, but there's a modern metallic element to really let it pop in the sunshine. The paint is a quality application from only a few years ago, and with only about 1,300 miles on the coupe since completed, it delivers the kind of smooth shine that will have you looking for car shows. The panels are exceptional, and so you get a crisp look on one of the most iconic Chevys of all time. Bright bumpers, fresh weather-stripping, and newer glass give this an overall look of quality. It loves having a smooth style, and so this one forgoes a full Super Sport look to give this a sleeker style with less badging and a sleeker/cleaner hood. But it does utilize the right iconic SS elements to add style and intimidation. The blackout ... Please ask for the full description.

6.2L LS3, 4L70E AUTO, WILWOOD PWR DISCS, PS, ICE-COLD A/C, BUILD RECEIPTS, CLEAN

The blackout grille and full-length sport stripe look excellent against the sliver while adding some intimidation. And the black 18-inch American Racing alloys are a thoughtful way to coordinate while also having the look and stance that make sure people know you have a powerful restomod.

Just like the exterior, the interior focuses on delivering plenty of vintage style while also upgrading your driving experience. The door panels, upholstery, dash pad, headliner, and carpeting all have a dark style that looks good against the exterior. Bucket seats, a center console, and a factory SS steering wheel give you a proper driver's environment. The horseshoe shifter looks stock, but keen eyes will notice the extra gear. And the dash now features Dakota Digital instruments nicely integrated into the factory housings. You'll love rolling down all the windows on this pillarless hardtop to hear the sounds of the motor. And you can easily enjoy this feeling even throughout the summer thanks to a fresh investment in cold-blowing R134a air conditioning installed in 2022.

Under the hood is a GM Performance 6.2-liter LS3 V8. The crate motor was a fresh addition in 2020, and the odometer represents how far this has gone since installed. While this obviously wasn't factory-issued, the way this motor fits in this professional upgrade looks like it could have been here from day one. This fuel-injected powerhouse packs 495 horsepower right out of the box. Plus, Hooker long tube headers are feeding an H-pipe dual exhaust to properly announce this power upgrade. The entire setup was professionally done, and it includes serpentine belts, an Optima red top battery, and an aluminum radiator with twin electric fans to help keep the full package running cool. The motor is mated to a 4L70E four-speed automatic that was made to handle big power machines like this, and it feeds the Moser 3.73 Positraction rear end. The receipt shows this motor and trans upgrade was a $34k investment all on its own! And you haven't even checked out the investments underneath yet. You have an upgraded Ridetech suspension that includes strong upgraded front control arms and a reinforced four-link rear. There are also adjustable coilovers behind each wheel and thick sway bars. Plus, power steering, power brakes, Wilwood four-wheel discs, and Michelin Pilot Sport tires make for both confident and easy driving.

Complete with build receipts and service manuals, this is the ideal mix of show and go. So don't miss this very custom Chevelle Malibu hardtop. Call today!!!
