1798CC, 4SPD TRANS, FUN 2 DRIVE, RUNS GR8, CLEAN IN/OUT, SUMMER CONVERTIBLE FUN!

This 1979 MGB is coming off of long-term ownership. It has been decades of respect with investments everywhere from the paint to the recently rebuilt motor. And you get to reap the benefits of it all while still getting quite an affordable price.

The MGB was a car that inspired driving passion, and some people were a bit more passionate than most. That's why this one was with the same owner for more than 30 years in garage-kept care. In that time, it looks like all the right investments were made. The red paint is a quality respray. So while this car has been enjoyed out on the road (because that's what an MGB is all about) it also has a gloss that loves to radiate on your sunny day drives. The level of care in this one is seen everywhere from the shine of the optional trunk luggage rack, to the way the full-length trim highlights the well-fitting doors. The black bumpers have the good look of a well-nourished plastic, and that goes well with the darker elements like the convertible top and background of the iconic Rostyle wheels.

Since all that black accenting looks so good on the outside, you're going to love the look against the all-black interior. The inside also shows off ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

The inside also shows off more of this car's thoughtful style. The upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo gives you better driving music; the soft convertible boot hides the top well; and the velour cloth on the bucket seats are particularly nice any sunny day that you hop while wearing shorts. And of course, this one was built to be a driver. The upgraded wood-rimmed steering wheel, ideally placed gearshift, and full gauge package get you ready to enjoy a nimble European drop-top.

Under the hood is the correct 1798cc engine. Since this has been under the same ownership for the majority of its life thus far, it is believed to be the car's original motor. Even the odometer is believed to reflect total actual mileage. There was a nice investment here less than 1,500 miles ago where the engine was rebuilt. It was also enhanced with a Weber carburetor, Cannon intake, and exhaust header. And everything from the condition of the belt to the electric fuel pump in the trunk show that there was a careful eye on maintaining a driver's classic. That's why it fires up readily, runs strong, and the four-speed manual transmission gives you ideal control. As you look underneath, you'll spot everything from power brakes w/front discs to newer bushings, and so you know this has confidence on the road.

Complete with owner's manual, this is the long-term loved classic convertible you've always wanted. And the price will never be better. So hurry up and call today!
