VERY WELL TAKEN CARE OF, 1493CC, 4 SPEED, COOL, CLEAN, WIND IN YOUR HAIR FUN!!!

If you're a fan of small British sports cars, or are just looking for something unique and plain cool...we have got the car for you! Take a look at this charming 1979 MG Midget that remains in original condition!

Brown isn't the first color that usually comes to folks minds these days as an engaging color for a car's paint, but in this car's era it was cool and it's still a likeable color for this MG's size and style. As stated above, this car remains in original condition and that brown paint is how it left the factory! Besides the factory chrome luggage rack in the rear, chrome windshield trim and the big rubber bumpers...the exterior remains fairly simple, but this car is less about flash and more about simplicity and fun! There is a black stripe along the bottom sides of the car that add a bit of a sporty flair. And the black vinyl top fits tightly if the weather takes a turn for the worse while you're enjoying this little roadster.

Inside, the brown vinyl seats remain firm to the touch and have a nice style with a stitched, center pattern. The black dash creates a two-tone theme and remains in great condition. The two passengers are provided with heat, defrost, and an AM radio, but ... Please ask for the full description.

The two passengers are provided with heat, defrost, and an AM radio, but with the fun factor this car delivers you don't need much else! All windows, handles and locks are operational and in simple view of the driver are necessary gauges such as fuel, water temp, speedo and tachometer. And mounted in the center console wrapped in brown carpet is an easy to reach gear selector that communicates with the 4-speed manual transmission.

As the 'Midget' name implies, this car is small and doesn't need a big, torquey V8 to power it down the road. Pop the hood and you'll find a 1,493 cc inline 4 cylinder that makes around 65 horsepower. It doesn't sound like a lot, but it's enough to power this little car to 60 mph in about 12 seconds, and to a top speed of a little more than 100 mph. Underneath, power flows through a synchromesh 4-speed gearbox to a straight axle in the rear. Handling the corners is a Macpherson strut front suspension and leaf springs out back, while braking is provided with discs up front and drums in the rear.

For the price point, this car is an absolute bargain! When you factor in the fun you'll have and the complements you'll get in this 1979 MG Midget, what's not to love? If you're ready for warm weather fun, look no further. Call today!
