When you think about a quintessential classic car, what pops in your mind? This 1966 Ford Mustang convertible is finished in a bright white paint job and is ready for sunny day fun!

Mustangs look great in bright colors and this factory correct Wimbledon White certainly qualifies. This car has great looking paint that is correct to the car and presents an excellent shine. The doors and trunk open and close with reassuring accuracy on new rubber seals. There isn't any flash suggesting this car is something it isn't, it's just proud to be what it is, built original, and it certainly should be. There's the grille with the running pony emblem, '289' badges on the fenders, and the three-element taillights, all of which make it perhaps the most recognizable car on the planet, and with shiny chrome bumpers it looks great.

Open those solid doors and slip inside a handsome blue interior. You'll first notice the carpet that is in great shape, along with pleated bucket seats up front. The door panels and dual cowl dash look just as nice with attractive inserts ... Please ask for the full description.

The door panels and dual cowl dash look just as nice with attractive inserts that produce a great contrast. Factory instruments in the 5-gauge panel that became standard in '66 appear to be in good condition. There is an AM/FM/cassette head unit in the center of the dash. The power black convertible top comes with a light blue boot matching the interior to give this pony a very clean top-down look. In the trunk you'll find a reproduction mat, and a full-sized spare tire, which is something of a rarity these days.

Under the hood is a storied 289 cubic inch V8 sending power to a 3-speed automatic transmission. When that burbly engine is fired to life, it produces that familiar tune that we've all come to love in small block Mustangs. The engine bay presents very well and the Ford Blue paint on the engine simply pops against those black fenders. The underpinnings remain in factory form, but you can believe the hardware is ready for more miles on the sunny highways.

Cars like this 1966 Ford Mustang don't last long in our showroom. Their demand has really increased in recent years, and being a convertible draws more attraction to this pony car. If you're ready to enjoy drop top fun in a quintessential classic, now is your chance. Call today!
