The absolutely iconic lines of the 1956 Chevrolet 150 have been given a modern and powerful makeover. After all, this has a seriously slick red and a performance appearance that screams there's a big block under the hood.
The factory may have offered you red paint, but it was nothing like this. You can tell there was a small fortune spent on this finish. There's a deep clearcoat that lets the sunshine radiate as it evenly rolls across the whole car. Not only does the gloss highlight the straight and even presentation, but also the way the full-length trim looks like an uninterrupted piece showcases the quality. And speaking of the brightwork, you can tell they spent a small fortune getting it this complete and sparkling. It includes the upgraded grille, the window trim, and freshly chromed bumpers. It has a great vintage look, but we bet what you really love are the performance upgrades. The power dome of the hood, Centerline racing wheels, and seriously meaty rear tires show off a true ProStreet style. Description
There are even cool little upgraded details, like the Chevy bow ties in the turning lights and the callouts in the fender that have been upgraded to reflect the monster motor (more on that in a moment.)
The interior is the right mix of style and substance. There are good details like bold red floor mats against plush gray carpeting and custom bow tie door panels. The seats are upgraded to a comfy gray cloth, and the front ones are now nicely bolstered buckets. You even have an armrest center console with cup holders to make this one feel as practical as a daily commuter...but you really already know this is a Saturday night blacktop king. That's why you have a B&M floor shifter, a banjo-style sports steering wheel, crisp AutoMeter auxiliary readouts, and a large SunPro tach dominating your view on the steering column. So while this does have an AM/FM/CD stereo, we bet your real favorite soundtrack begins under the hood.
The smooth red inner walls of the engine bay feel like a matador encouraging the bull in the middle to start charging. That tidy beast is a ZZ502 performance big block. There are known to be 500+ horsepower brutes right out of the box. This one inhales deeply with a Holley four-barrel carburetor and headers that feed the growling dual exhaust. There are also the right supporting components everywhere from the Griffin aluminum radiator to the Derale oil pan. The strong TH400 three-speed automatic transmission sends the power to a stout Ford 9-inch rear. As you look underneath, you'll see all the right upgrades, like a strong frame, fresh bushings, and coilovers on the rear. Plus, power steering, power brakes, and front discs keep this street-eating package under your control.
This is the iconic Chevy that's built to own the streets. Don't let something this awesome slip away, call today!
