Early Mustangs just don't last very long around here, and this nicely done 1966 Ford Mustang coupe hits all the right notes. A glossy paint job, rumbling small block, and killer stance creates a desirable pony car package that is sure to get the heads turning.
Starting with that vivid red paint job, this pony is pretty hard to miss. It's not in-your-face bright, but you can definitely tell someone spent a ton of time and effort making it look this good. The resto-mod theme always works well on vintage Mustangs with the modern hue enhancing the old sheetmetal in a very pronounced way. The light in our studio glows off the surfaces,so imagine what it would look like out in the sun! All the usual Mustang goodies are there, from the corral on the front grille, the 289 badges, and the 3-element taillights that have been a design statement for fifty years now. A touch of GT can be found in the rear valence. A proper stance, sitting on polished 17'' American Racing 5-spoke wheels, make this the kind of car you look forward to taking out for the night.
Inside is a clean, black vinyl interior that certainly doesn't tell the age of this iconic muscle car. Low-back buckets are comfortable, thanks ... Please ask for the full description.

Low-back buckets are comfortable, thanks to fresh foam underneath, and the traditional Mustang interior is a very stylish place to spend some time. The door panels, carpets, and headliner all appear fresh, and a removable center console fitted between the seats adds storage with a pair of cup holders for cruising. A black-trimmed and chrome 3-spoke steering wheel brings a little style to your drive, and the original gauges are joined by a trio of auxiliary gauges mounted below the dash that measure oil pressure, amperage, and water temps. A modern AM/FM/CD Kenwood head unit offers iPod and satellite radio compatibility, while sending tunes to a pair of Kenwood speakers in the rear deck with units remaining in the front dash as well.
What would a first-generation Mustang be without a throaty V8 under the hood? Built and ready to rock, the 302 cubic inch V8 under the hood has been stroked to 347 cubic inches and packs plenty of punch thanks to thoughtful upgrades. There's a chrome air cleaner that tops a Holley carburetor and chrome valve covers capping GT40 heads. A lumpy cam cycles the intake/exhaust to the cylinders while the spent gasses burnt from the MSD ignition exhale through aftermarket headers and a great sounding dual exhaust system. Power front disc brakes keep the coupe under control, and a new shocks, lowering springs, upper/lower control arms and a bigger sway bar make it a docile ride on the street and are supplemented with 215/45/17 radials at all four corners.
With slick styling, great handling, and enough power that's backed by an incredible soundtrack, this '66 Mustang is the ideal package for the enthusiast looking to add some excitement to their Saturday night cruises. It's priced right and appeals to the masses. Call today!
