FUN, 302 V8, AUTO, FRESH PAINT, GREAT CRUISER, CRAGERS, AFFORDABLE!!

There's no such thing as an ugly 1969 Mustang, and this cool blue coupe is a very affordable way to get a vintage V8 pony car on a budget. It looks great, runs well, and has a new interior, all for an extremely reasonable price. This is a very easy car to like.

We know the Boss Mustangs steal the spotlight, but take a good, long look at this neat little coupe. It's got the same awesome nose as the big money cars, a handsome profile with flaring quarter panels, and all the small details that make Mustangs so special. The paint was freshened up last spring, so the paint is nice with a good gloss that suits the sporting 2-door just fine. It's not show car perfect, but then again, who wants a trailer queen Mustang? Get in and drive! The medium blue finish is period correct and a big improvement over the original Light Ivy Yellow, and isn't burdened with stripes or tacked-on styling gimmicks. Instead, it has a low-key look that is pure Mustang and you might reconsider the coupe after seeing this car in person. Nice chrome bumpers shine against the paint and offer nice contrast, and the grille with its outboard-mounted high-beams is in excellent condition.

The black interior is fairly stock, ... Please ask for the full description.

The black interior is fairly stock, and with great-looking high-back buckets, there's just no reason to go off the menu. New seat covers, fresh carpets, replacement door panels, and a bunch of other new stuff like the dash pad and wood-rimmed steering wheel. The gauges are original and might show a bit of fading, but nothing that needs to be remedied, and the factory radio has been replaced by an AM/FM/cassette head unit that fits neatly in the original radio's slot and powers a set of 6x9 speakers on the rear package shelf. The shiny chrome B&M shifter on the transmission tunnel means you'll always find the right gear and there are heavy-duty rubber floor mats to keep things tidy. The coupe offers a reasonably-sized back seat with fresh upholstery on it, so you can take real-sized people with you, which sometimes isn't possible in the sleeker fastback. There's also a good-sized trunk finished with a correct mat, so load up your gear and hit the road!

Even at this price, you're getting a V8 with your new Mustang coupe, in this case a strong-running 302 cubic incher. Also known as the 5.0, this engine provides a great combination of economy and torque, and is a gross over-achiever in the performance department. Equipped with a 4-barrel carburetor, it makes all the right sounds and has snappy throttle response that makes it a lot of fun to drive on the street. It also looks pretty darned good with chrome valve covers and an open-element air cleaner, plus Ford Blue engine enamel in a satin black engine bay. There's nothing terribly radical here, so you can just get in, turn the key, and start having fun, and that's the Mustang way. A C4 3-speed automatic feeds an 8-inch rear end which, according to the door tag, has 2.83 gears inside so it's an awesome highway car. It's got a bit of a rake, and with those shiny Cragars and 205/70/14 Dunlop radials, it looks great just sitting still.

Fun Mustangs don't have to cost a fortune and this clean little coupe offers an awful lot of bang for the buck. Call today!
