The M3 Competition is the kind of car we're going to covet more and more as the years go by. It was a special edition version that made the E46 M3 a more performance machine. In fact, it was the most hardcore M3 we were offered in the USA. So it just looks terrific in a mean and sleek black. Under the hood is what makes the E46 M3 so important. This was the last generation of naturally aspirated inline motors. So this 3.2-liter inline six-cylinder is considered by many as the pinnacle of BMW engineering. And while the factory 333 horsepower is considered impressive, this one corrals even more ponies. It inhales deeper with an Injen EIS air intake, and it exhales with added power as headers feed a Rogue Engineering El Diablo exhaust system. Plus, this has the excellent SMG II gearbox option where you use paddles to let the computer shift the six-speed faster than you ever could. The excellent sports suspension is inspired by pieces from the M3 CSL. Plus, it's turned up a notch with a Meghan racing strut bar, Turner camber plates, and a rear strut bar. The four-wheel power disc brakes are even enhanced by an upgraded RB big brake kit.
