Inside the racing theme continues, and if you had any doubts then the black vinyl high back bucket racing seats with the harnesses for added safety will set the record straight. The steering wheel is located on what many will consider the passenger side showing this car's true European roots. The gauges are located in the center of the dash, with the toggle switch center control pod located on the floor, along with the shifter topped by an orange ball shifter. A Sunpro tachometer is located on the doorway by the driver. Just because this Minor screams race does not mean that you can't enjoy amenities. In an overhead compartment there is an AM/FM/CD player ready to provide some extra enjoyment. With a clean headliner, black carpets, and matching door panels the interior is ready for the next adventure seeker.
Pop the hood and you'll be greeted by a mean Chevy hi-nickel 350 that has been bored to a stout 355 cubic inches. This isn't your typical 350 build, inside the engine you'll find a steel crank, 10.5:1 TRW forged pistons, Chevy's "pink" shot-peened rods, Crower chromoly pushrods, a Crane Cam and mechanical lifters...to name a few. A Mallory ignition provides the spark for this powerful small block, while spent gasses travel out the custom 1.750" headers through a Ultimate 2.5" exhaust, equipped with Magnaflow mufflers. Bolted to the rear of the small block is a 3-speed automatic transmission that sends power to a Ford 9" rear, equipped with 3.70 gears and Strange axles. As for suspension, the front has been fitted with a Ford Cortina Strut setup with American Eagle coilovers and disc brakes, while out back you'll find an Art Morrison 4-bar setup. Power is transferred to the ground thanks to American Racing rims wrapped in massive Hoosier tires in the rear, and Nakang rubber in the front.
Extremely unique, a lot of fun to look at, and even more so to drive, this Morris Minor is primed to provide a lifetime of enjoyment...and certainly turn heads while doing it! Don't miss your chance to own it. Call Today!
