We all love an entry-level classic like this 1959 Volkswagen Beetle. It has some of the earlier and desirable design features. And while this one already has upgrades, the price leaves room in the budget for you to do your own any time you want.

The front fenders w/vents, big back window, small taillights, and large headlights are all part of the more vintage elements that help define the earlier Bugs. From there this one has plenty of added details, including a neon-like green paint, a sport mirror, and a terrific red pinstripe that outlines the trim and fenders. And there are some cool little details, like how the front fenders are smooth and the turn signals are now in the headlight housing. And those black EMPI wheels join the tinted windows and rubber step boards for a well-coordinated look. The same classic style with upgraded attitude is continued inside. Low-back bucket seats up front and a classic dash with a single VDO gauge pack are the right vintage pieces you like. But this is also upgraded to be a better driver. The AM/FM/CD stereo with USB input and Bluetooth makes for upgraded driving music. And there's an upgraded three-spoke sports steering wheel and upgraded shifter to give you full control.

The Beetle's flat-four motor is known for its robust constriction. These air-cooled motors are a big part of the VW's desirability. This one decodes to a 1500cc unit, which is larger than what you got in '59. It doesn't mean this is ready to win drag races, but you will certainly feel the extra pep in this enhanced Bug going down the road. And the four-speed manual transmission, nimble steering, and modern sport tires give you a fun feeling going down the road.
