This 1956 Chevrolet 210 Wagon carries all the iconic lines of its much more common (and expensive) coupe brothers. And they also upgraded it with all the right pieces, including more V8 power, a custom A/C interior, four-wheel disc brakes, and a great two-tone style. So dig into the details on an all-around distinctive classic.
This one instantly announces it's something special. Two-tones were terrific to have on a '56 Chevy, but the presentation is quite modern here. After all, the factory never offered a cool package that utilized burnt orange and charcoal gray. You can tell there was a small fortune spent here because they're modern metallic paints with deep clearcoat finishes. So the sunshine radiates at it evenly rolls across the whole car. And the side trim makes for a fantastic dividing line for the color duo. And speaking of the brightwork, you can tell they spent a small fortune getting it this complete and sparkling. Description
It includes the wraparound bumpers, wide grille, and all the trim that make these Tri-Five Chevys true American icons. But more than just history, that paint set off a custom car attitude. And you can see that continued everywhere from the polished 17-inch Torq Thrust wheel to the little things like the shaved rear door handles to give this a hint of Nomad style.
The interior continues the gray and orange two-tone. It's a thoughtful setup that intertwines the two colors on the custom seats and door panels. And it's also comprehensive with even the steering column and shift boot done to match. This is the kind of car that was built to be enjoyed. That's why there were investments in cold-blowing air conditioning, quality weather-stripping, and provisions for an AM/FM/CD stereo with USB input (it may need servicing for ideal driving music.) And you have features like a wood-rimmed sports steering wheel, Lokar-style floor shifter, and AutoMeter aux gauges for a solid driver. The split rear tailgate gives you easy access to carry cargo and/or the ideal seat for a ballgame. And that wicker basket that looks like you're always on a picnic is really a clever way to store the rear-mounted battery.
This Tri-Five has proper small block power, but this goes much further than the factory. The 350 cubic-inch V8 is larger than what they offered that year. And this has been enhanced with a Holley four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock intake. There are also good supporting pieces, like an aluminum radiator w/electric fan, fabricated valve covers, a brake dual master cylinder. The V8 fires up nicely as it gives a dignified tune out of the dual exhaust. This one loves to hit the road, and so you have power steering, a three-speed automatic transmission, and four-wheel power disc brakes to really keep this classic feeling confident on the road.
This is the grocery-getter customized for comfort and performance. So if you love distinction and versatility, this is the ultimate Tri-Five Chevy for you. Call today!!!
