This Scout has the right attitude for a serious off-road machine. It includes the tubular steel front bumper w/bull bar, a hood scoop to signal the V8 within, flared fenders, and rear steel bumper w/trailer hitch and tow hooks. And there are all the right go-anywhere accessories like the new Traveller 12k lb. winch and Mickey Thompson wheels. The quarter panels are even made of fiberglass. This is a true off-road roadster, and so the interior was built with robust style in mind. The full roll cage from the truck bed even extends through the passenger area for added strength and security. There are some cool vintage pieces, like the tartan pattern in the bucket seats and the wide factory gauge package. And the working heater is a nice piece when you are the first one to hit the morning trail. The grippy sports steering wheel, long gearstick, oil pressure gauge, and column-mounted tach are all there to make sure you can enjoy this upgraded Scout to the fullest.
Under the hood is a solid presentation of a 304 cubic-inch motor. A Scout with proper V8 power is always a desirable feature, and the four-speed manual transmission means you are in full control of it all. This one fires up eagerly as it inhales deeply from the Weber four-barrel carburetor. And headers allow this to exhale freely into the dual exhaust. The lifted stance, BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain KM2 tires, and two-speed 4x4 transfer case give this the ability to keep going even when the trail ends. But for those days when you're on pavement, this Scout obliges with good anytime features like power steering, power brakes, and front disc brakes.
This is a great combination of distinction and utility. So it's time to grab this Scout. Call today!!!
