BLUEPRINT 350CI MOTOR, HOLLEY SNIPER EFI, TH350 TRANS, POWER FRONT DISCS

This 1971 GMC Sprint is already a unique treat for delivering the El Camino-style appearance but with a rarer and more distinct GMC name. It only gets better on an example that has had big investments in the powerful fuel-injected V8, suspension, interior, and more to make sure this one has the performance to live up to its racing stripes.

The color on this one holds close to Mulsanne Blue, a great color used on plenty of GM muscle cars. This is a more modern clearcoat application that looks great in the sunshine. And this color really highlights the relationship the GMC Sprint has in the GM family. The close relationship with the Chevrolet El Camino not only means you have a pickup that has all the best muscle traits of a Chevelle, but also most of the components and upgrades can be utilized here, too. So the Sprint added distinction without any added burden. So you have some terrific muscle car pieces, like the cowl hood, blackout grille, and rally wheels. And we especially like how the trim on the tailgate is used so that you get a white streak to match the racing stripes on the hood. There are even some cool upgrades, like the clear headlights, liner paint in the bed, and ... Please ask for the full description.

There are even some cool upgrades, like the clear headlights, liner paint in the bed, and large dual exhaust tips. Plus, everything from the shine of the brightwork to the fit of the panels lets you know there has been an overall investment in quality. It makes for a total impression of a cool car/truck that's meant to be on the road and turn heads the whole time doing it.

The black interior has a great look for a stylish and comfortable classic. The deep black on the dash, door panels, and carpets sets a good tone for a performance driver. And the upgraded bucket seats fit in with the color theme while offering a big upgrade in modern bolstering. There's even more added comfort with upgrades like the retro-style AM/FM digital tuner and provisions for R134a air conditioning (it will need servicing to blow cold again.) And you can really tell how much this one loves to be a driver by all the features centered around you. There are classic pieces like the center console and horseshoe shifter. And there are also upgrades like the newer sports steering wheel, a polished tilt column, and a full set of Dakota Digital gauges.

Under the hood is a terrific powerhouse. It's a 350 cubic-inch V8 from the masters at BluePrint engines. It's built with an Edelbrock intake, long tube headers, and an X-pipe dual exhaust feeding a set of Thrush mufflers. And it's topped with a Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection system for the best in power and consistency. There's less than 1k miles on the motor, and the way it eagerly fires up really reaffirms the benefit of a fresh fuel-injected machine. It's also supported by the right pieces, like electric fans and a serpentine belt system. As you look underneath, you spot even more great investments, like tubular A-arm front suspension, newer bushings, and boxed trailing arms in the rear. Add in a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes w/front discs, and this one is a great and powerful all-around driver.

This is GMC distinction in a well-done total package. So if you love a cool classic that's made to let you enjoy the road, call today!
