It's a long-standing Chevy powerhouse known for its torque and stout construction. Parts availability is even better than a usual Land Rover, and this even has good supporting components like an Optima battery and an electric fan. The engine change and larger radiator necessitated the front end change to later front fenders. So you know this is a 4x4 that was made to be enjoyed. A two-speed transfer case and deep treads on the modern BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain tires assure that you can keep going even when the trail ends. And features like power steering and power brakes are nice for those times when you're just enjoying this classic on the road. And no matter where you go, the control of a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive is appreciated.
