201 CI 4 CYLINDER, 3-SPEED MANUAL TRANS, RUMBLE SEAT, ROADSTER, MODEL A DELUXE!

Not all Ford Model A roadsters were created equal. Not only is this one a rare sight because it was not turned into a hot rod, but also it's the extraordinary Deluxe model that has a more regal appearance. And with everything from the detailed color combo to the rumble seat rear makes this early 1931 example a terrific way to experience premium vintage motoring.

You can tell a car like this was cherished for decades. The owner's wife said he loved it more than her! And so when you have a mistress made in Henry Ford steel, it seems only fitting that he called her Henrietta. You see the difference in the details with etched glass on the wind wings, bright side step plates, the classic Tennessee license plate, a trunk strapped down to the rear, and a bright quail leading the way. And the reason why Henrietta can feel so special is that she's a 40-B Deluxe roadster. There's a detailed two-tone yellow paint with glossy black fenders and accents. We like how the finish has the right look of aging while still looking impressive - it shows off an earned respect without you ever saying a word. These colors are bold on their own, and they also do a great job of highlighting the red wire ... Please ask for the full description.

These colors are bold on their own, and they also do a great job of highlighting the red wire wheels with whitewall tires. And part of what makes it a Deluxe model is the spare wheels mounted in each fender. But this one even gets the details right like the great-looking folding roof and the red pinstriping that matches the wheel color (and Model A people know good ones have this.)

The black roof looks good in place, because it fits with the color theme, and this one even comes with nice details like side curtains. But as a true roadster, you know this one is always more fun when open to the world. So we're glad to see the color theme continue inside. That means the exterior yellow is on most of the metal, and plenty of black on the seat, side panels, and dash. Even the red pinstriping returns. The driver gets the classic four-spoke steering, a marble-style shifter handle, and classic gauges for that true jaunty feeling. This is the ideal sunny Sunday day drive friend, and if you have more than one companion on your ambling road trips, there's even a rumble seat upholstered to match the front seats.

When you open the hood, you'll see a year-correct 201 cubic-inch Ford four-cylinder motor. Henrietta likes to be a driver, and so you have a tidy setup that shows off a solid cruiser. This has been upgraded to a 12-volt electrical system with an alternator and modern coil. And newer pieces like the hoses, wires, plugs, and water pump are all about being a confident classic. When you're driving with the top down on a country road, this strong-running Ford makes an industrial symphony of simplicity. The three-speed manual transmission shifts cleanly with a solid mechanical feel that makes you love pre-war motoring. So, in total, this classic Ford is still a fun runabout.

Henrietta has been a well-loved icon. So if you're looking for a true classic roadster, she needs to go home with you. Call today!!!
