This 1980 MGB is a quality classic with terrific details everywhere you look. But the most impressive part is that this attractive drop-top's total package is available right now for a value price.
This MGB just seems to enjoy being a true classic. Clean panels, a rear luggage rack, and wire wheels with knock-off hubs make for an impressive European sports car. There's a nice-looking silver on everything from the windshield frame to the full-length trim. The black bumpers have a deep color that handsomely pair with the well-fitting black convertible top. And the paint is one of our favorite parts. The bold red is a great look on a classic sports car. Plus, there's a bit of trivia you can share about it. It's a quality respray utilizing a 2000 BMW color. That also happens to be the last year BMW owned the MG brand. Pretty clever, right?
The MGB is always desirable for offering a proper convertible top and roll-up windows, but we all know you really want to be open to the world as much as possible. So this one gives you an attractive interior done in a full black that coordinates with the exterior. It's a driver's car with bucket seats, a grippy sports steering wheel, and a ... And the paint is one of our favorite parts. The bold red is a great look on a classic sports car. Plus, there's a bit of trivia you can share about it. The MGB is always desirable for offering a proper convertible top and roll-up windows, but we all know you really want to be open to the world as much as possible. So this one gives you an attractive interior done in a full black that coordinates with the exterior. It's a driver's car with bucket seats, a grippy sports steering wheel, and a well-placed gear shift with a switch for the electronic overdrive. There's also a classic-style AM/FM/cassette stereo for good driving music. There are even nice details, like MG rubber floor mats and a proper toolkit in the trunk. Plus, your top-down experience includes a choice between a taut-fitting convertible boot or a full racing tonneau.
Under the hood is the correct-style 1798cc motor. There were investments here to keep this a driver's car. It inhales with a Weber carburetor and exhales with added power into a split header setup. There are also good supporting components, like newer plugs, wires, coil, belts, an electric fan, and stainless exhaust/muffler. It makes for a terrific runner. And the four-speed manual transmission with an electrically engaged overdrive is your key to getting the most out of this powerhouse. Plus, power brakes, front discs, and modern Tiger Paw tires make this the kind of classic you'll love to drive.
Complete with owner's manual, this has the style and substance for an excellent European classic sports car. So don't miss this deal, call today!
