This 1963 Ford F-100 Custom Cab is an honest, dependable truck, that's been nicely restored...which makes it always welcome at shows. But because it also has a big V8 under the hood, this F-Series can still do a hard day's work when called to duty, oh...and it cruises very nicely like that too!
You can instantly see that this Ford is a cut above. After all, these trucks were often used and abused, and this looks like its led the easy life of a modern pickup. The factory-correct black looks amazing on these flairside bodies. Like any good workman truck, it's not trying to be too showy with too much brightwork, which makes each piece really noticeable. Of course there's no missing the two-piece Ford chrome hubcaps. And, the red steel wheels are not only a nice complement to F-O-R-D in the hubcaps and on the tailgate, but it also helps make you aware of the red pinstriping that outlines the power bulge in the hood. Still, beyond all these appearance features, this pickup is always ready to work. In fact, the truck bed has its wood painted an easy to maintain black, so you can take on weekend projects without any worry.

You'll probably never tint the windows on this one because you'll want everyone to see how the red and black theme on the exterior is perfectly continued on the interior. Plus, it has all the details, right from the cool zipper pouch in the driver's door, to the classic steering wheel. While trucks are supposed to be basic, this one does offer the right upgrades. It starts with the highly stylized red and black vinyl bench. Keen eyes will see a welcomed SunPro tachometer next to the original speedometer. There's also a full set of auxiliary gauges mounted just below the modern AM/FM/CD stereo.
Under the hood is an exceptionally honest looking 292 cubic-inch V8. It looks nice and fresh with the correct red paint, and even the original-style air cleaner, with period-correct stickers. Not only is it quite a torquey powerplant, but it's also surprisingly smooth for a truck engine. With well-matched gears in the three-speed manual transmission, it keeps up with traffic without any issues. Designed for work, the rear end isn't geared for high-speed cruising, but it will roll at 65 MPH without hesitation, and it'll do it with a bed full of 2x4s without complaint. In fact, you might have noticed the tow hitch in between the dual exhaust tips. That means you can have the coolest ride to tow the toys. Even if all you want this pickup for is the morning commute, it's happy to oblige with comfort features such as power steering and front disc brakes.
This is the F-100 that you can carefully haul a load on Saturday, and take to the car show on Sunday. This has been beautifully restored to remind you of a hard day's work, and best of all, you can pick it up at a workman's price. Call now!!
